They're complete! [Closed]
The peace of the City sky fell to the wayside as a wizard shot through it, zipping on the wings of magic to the tower where a certain dragon made their home.
"They're done!" he called out as he landed.
"They're done!" he called out as he landed.

"The rings? That's excellent to hear," She asked to confirm with a grin as she padded right on over to him.
no subject
"Yes. It's a load off my mind in any number of ways, believe me."
no subject
"Very nice, very nice indeed, thank you. I hope it did not cause you too much trouble to make," She leaned down and gave a soft touch of her snout tip to his forehead before tilting her head curiously, "Hmm, how does one use it properly?"
no subject
"Just speak the command phrase: 'Polymorph, mebghail.'"
Even as he spoke them, the magic of his own took hold, and he shifted abruptly to his dragon form in mid-explanation.
"It's two words very unlikely to occur in sequence, so as to be hard to invoke accidentally."

Leaning her snout over to give a bump of her snout to his, grinning all the while, "Simple enough then, lets see then, 'Polymorph, mebghail'" she spoke the command words aloud and felt her form shrink down to take on her elven form. Looking down over her form for but a brief moment before grinning up at him, this would make things so much simpler for the both of them.
She couldn't help but chuckle as she grinned up to his currently much larger form, so often after all was it the other way around.

With but a gesture the wrapped object floated over to rest in her palm, to rest easily within it before turning fully to face him, something she had been working on for sometime in the background amongst other tasks while he wasn't watching. Holding it forth she offered it to him with a warm smile as she speaks "I couldn't let you go without a gift of your own after that lovely horn-ring and these rings, I hope that this will serve you well,"
Within those fine silk wrappings Aibghalien would find an ornate finely crafted necklace of silver with an intricate purple pattern weaved through it, and from that necklace hang what many would mistake for a mundane if ornate amulet, with striking resemblance to the one Celena herself often wore, in truth like Celena's own, a knowledge crystal, though the crystal and inner glow had been worked to resemble vibrant amethyst.

Of course, sentimentality notwithstanding, there was no hiding the delighted gleam in his eyes as he lifted the necklace. "I can't imagine how you figured out this would be a wonderful gift," he said to her with a grin.
no subject
A grin soon finding its way to her features at his reaction to the necklace and the knowledge crystal attached, "A bit of a hunch you could say, I am sure you shall find many uses for it," she replied with a wide grin.

Having teased her, though, he reached out to slide his arms around her in turn. "How did the bathhouse reopening go? I'm sorry I couldn't make it," he said, smiling a weary apology. "You know how little time I have..."
no subject
Chuckling softly she slid her arms more fully about him as she stepped closer for a more comfortable hold, "It went quite well, many of the new arrivals have taken up its use as well it would seem," She replied with an easy smile, shaking her head, "Don't worry yourself, I understand completely, anything I can help with?"
no subject
"You can help me with the Tower, of course. I'm considering moving into it."
no subject
"Oh? The Tower you discovered not long ago? I'd be happy to, of course,"

He leaned his head into hers, cheek against her hair. "I'm very grateful you understand. How busy I can get and suchforth. You know I always make a effort to make time for you."

"So what's you next project?" She wasn't any better than him at standing still for a moment, after all.

"The Gateway system still needs a few minor adjustments before it's ready for proper testing, had to realign a few of the emitter crystals after integrating the power supply," She nodded across to the Paired gateway system where it lay in the center of the room, "A few other projects and ideas come to mind though, constructing a detailed map of the city being one such idea,"

"I can show you what I have from my casual flights if you'd like?"

He was proud -- to a certain of extent of her, and more generally that she had ever taken notice of him.

With a warm smile though she pulled back from the hug and took his hand, leading him through to the study, the crystals within still active and displaying their bookshelves, a few books strewn open about. With a wave of a hand they faded, leading them to the center of the array of knowledge crystals she gave a gesture and a thought, a floating slowly spinning holographic image of the city springing to view to fill the room.
From the Transport tubes that rose through to the ceiling, near the entire currently 'explored by crew' area had been mapped out, each building clearly identifiable. Further out from those areas, smaller blocks of the city were mapped, the unmapped areas of the city left hazy, though the shape of the entire city was shown in its entire oval.

Studying the map, he lifted one hand and traced a small swath from the explored areas in an arc out to where he'd discovered the Tower of High Sorcery. "There are no obvious magical emanations there. For what little that's worth, I can rule that out at least, having traversed that area.

Thinking on where he had noted the Tower to be on the Omnicomm she placed a marker over the location given, at the very edge of one of her explored areas a structure that was but an a vague outline of a large building with twin towers rising from its base. Looking across to Aibghalien as she gestured to the indicated location and building, "That is the correct location of the tower, yes?" She asked in confirmation.

"Ronnae is helpful but only one person. We need a decent survey..."
no subject
"Indeed, but one is a start, I shall keep an eye out for those who might be suited and ask around," Celena replied easily as she stepped over to him, placing a light comforting hand on his back, peering over his shoulder toward the very edge, the wall that made the edge of the city and the gates to that made the points of the compass, those she had seen only from afar given the distances involved. "I can only wonder what else lies waiting for us in this city and what lies beyond it yet,"
no subject
He laughed, leaning gently into her. "So tell me. What do dragons do for relaxation? You always seem just as busy as I am."
