The Reaction [open]

Admittedly, Rachel had noticed a while ago-- it was something hard to not notice after all-- but she'd been dealing in her own way. Maybe there was a bit of denial, a bit of grief... but now, she was mostly just trying to work out her frustration. Tobias, Cassie, Jake-- all three of them had disappeared on her. She was angry at Stacy for having taken them away, and... well, she missed them, obviously.

But at that point? She was mostly just frustrated.

Fortunately the sensoriums were a good place for blowing off steam, and working off anger. Rachel was kind of growing to like them for that-- it was easy to just sort of be angry at things, and let it out. Less people to bother her too-- but she didn't really bother with locking the door either.

The African Elephant stomped around the Zoo that she had conjured up in the rooms. Normally one wouldn't be out of place-- but this one was trampling abandoned candy stalls, and occasionally prying apart cages.

Hmm. No response, other than the trumpeting, which could have been coincidence. So maybe it wasn't a crew member after all.

It seemed that the purpose of the dolphin simulation was to engage in play. Was the purpose of this one to destroy the nearby structures? Perhaps some additional clues would present themselves if he followed the animal's lead.

Experimentally, Zouichi tapped at the bars of a nearby medium-sized cage, bell-shaped: probably for housing birds of some kind, but now empty. Metal, probably some kind of steel. He drew his fist back and struck it hard enough to simply snap the metal supports right off the sculpted rock the cage was mounted on, sending the metal enclosure flying backwards and rolling backwards until it impacted another cage.

...actually, that was strangely satisfying.

It was pretty fun. And since the zoo wasn't real, there wasn't any point in preserving the environs, anyway. He lifted up a nearby planter box, hurling it carelessly to the side, where its wood splintered, sending a flood of lackluster geraniums spilling out onto the sidewalk on a tide of dirt.

Take that, geraniums.
