Danny, when dealing with grief, tended to skip the denial phase altogether and go straight into anger. Dani, the clone that was, for all intents and purposes his little sister, had been repodded, and Danny really needed to punch something.

He blasted, punched and kicked his way through a sensorium-made ghost army. green ecto rays and blue ice beams flying. Finally, the halfa screamed in rage, letting loose a ghostly wail, before dropping or his knees, exhausted.

Oh, so he didn't recognise her-- which figured, since she'd been in morph before. Other than that, she'd only spoken with him over the comms. She rolled her eyes somewhat at him, but replied with a shrug. "Nothing, I guess. Just heard someone who sounded pissed off."

"You'd be pissed off too if the ship repodded your little sister." Danny answered.

Oh. So he was probably the brother of that annoying girl she'd met when she first showed up on the ship. That made sense-- especially if she disappeared.

Rolling her eyes, she replied a bit harshly. "And maybe I know what it feels like."

And Danny honestly did not give a crap. "Yeah, well, any other time I'd bee more than happy to commiserate, but I'm not exactly in the mood right now."

"And who said I expected you to care?" Rachel said, rolling her eyes emphatically. "Think of it more of 'stop wallowing in self pity' or something."
