On the prowl
A tall woman dressed in black and green robes wandered through the City, stopping every so often to examine a building or landmark that caught her interest. She seemed to have no real aim, though she occasionally stopped to examine and tap at the Omnicomm in her hands before moving on, perhaps nothing down some observation about her surroundings.
Midna was indeed looking for nothing in particular, but she was hoping to run into a crew member or two on the way. She'd seen no one from her world aboard the ship, which meant that no one would know her identity unless she told them. An excellent opportunity, indeed; those who might be reluctant to talk to the imp Midna might be willing to part with information if asked by a humanoid woman instead.
But to do this, she needed acquaintances in this form, people to help establish the credibility of her second identity. While it would be completely plausible that a single woman might have escaped notice in the mass of new releases from the pods, it might be more difficult to believe that that same woman could continue to escape notice as time went on. In fact, if that woman were not seen around the ship, interacting with people just as Midna did, it would be far easier to put two and two together.
Thus she was now looking for an unwitting accomplice.
Instead, she'd wandered right past the most populated areas of the City and right into a large labyrinth, made of old stone and vines that looked half-wild. She never was good at steering clear of a good puzzle. At each fork she came to, naturally, she turned left -- one way or another, that should bring her to the exit. Entrance. Whatever. Instead she found herself in a clearing, looking down at a stone stairwell that led to the underground.
Hmm. Go down (Y/N)?
[ooc: This is Midna transformed into her "Princess" form. She will probably disavow any and all knowledge of Imp!Midna. This takes place in The Labyrinth.]

That isn't to say she was a coward in any respect. Quite the opposite in fact. She didn't ever think much about it, but she had the potential to be very selfless and brave. The opportunity just hadn't risen yet.
While she tended to shy away from adults, authority figures in particular, her time on the ship had allowed her to explore new worlds she had never dreamed of back in the city where it always rained. And thus, her shell began to crack.
And so today we find her roaming the city as she so often does, aimless, what trouble could she get into today? Maybe find a shiny something or other in one of the abandoned houses? Or a fresh wall to tag with her pain can that she'd found some time ago?
Or in this case, an alien looking woman looking into a hole in the ground.
As quietly as possible she tried to sneak up closer to this woman to see what she was up to.

At any rate, there was no time like the present. She gathered up her cloak to avoid stepping on the dark cloth, then slowly made her way down the spiraling stone stairway. No doubt she seemed to disappear as she descended and her image was swallowed up by the mist.
When she came to the bottom, she found a circular stone room, covered with strange etchings where the patterns were not covered by moss. Midna looked first left, then right, then down. Hmm. There was no appearent entrance. What could this area be for? She approached an area of the wall, exploring the surface of the carvings with her fingers, probing for a hinge or hidden switch.

She would often imagine herself a ninja or some kind of explorer after the death of humanity sifting through the rubble for lost treasures.
And as she let herself slip into one of these fantasies (Stalking the mysterious alien creature hoping to be led to a vault of technological marvels) She slipped and stumbled on the last few stairs with a gasp, turning her body to stone mid fall and landing with a solid THUD! She heard something cracked and hoped it was the floor, not her.
Sneaky like a boulder.

"Didn't your parents teach you not to skulk about like that?" Midna asked. She suppose a hooded figure in black would arouse some curiosity; she just hadn't expected it would be from a little girl. What were children doing aboard this ship, anyway?

Nothing. She'd gotten lucky this time. Shifting back to soft human flesh she assessed the woman carefully considering if she had to run and would she make it upstairs in time.
Uh oh :P
Pft X3
P.S. Midna is not familiar with that euphemism for 'crazy'!
Drunk would be a better term X3

However, as she stopped, Chamo peered at the stairwell that was headed down the way. Hmm... If only Negi were here, but he was recovering.
It was Chamo Time. Oh yeah.
Bounding towards the woman, he cleared his throat. "Hello lady! Come to look around a little?"

wonder why, but she did dip her head slightly in greeting. "Why, that's right. I seem to have gotten myself a bit turned around. But it was a good thing I did, yes? Otherwise I wouldn't have happened on this little gem."She looked back at the mysterious structure, considering. "Now what do you suppose it's for...?"

And the mention of traps, well. Someone might as well have pasted a neon sign on it.
"Well," she said. "Shall we investigate?"
no subject
"We shall. I've been feeling a little bored lately. Some adventure would do just fine."

He could be stealthy, sees no particular reason, and steps forward, making himself plenty obvious.
"Hey. Haven't see you around."
no subject
"Why, I should think not. I just arrived." There's a look of faint amusement in her eyes, as if she's recalling a memory from long ago. "And I don't always make my presence...obvious."

Her thoughts drifted to her arrival on the ship, how desperate and sorrowful she had been about the news, how she was the only one from her family to survive. She hadn't hoped for anyone to come out this pop, or any after for that matter. So at least she saved herself the heartache... Only to be presented with doubts and the anxiety that maybe... they would lose in the end.
She preferred coming off as positive and cheery to the others, raising morale when she could. That's shy she would hide whenever she felt her hope dwindling.
Thus here she was, sitting against one of the walls, knees up to her chest and head resting on top of it as she looked off into the distance.

"Lost? You know, if you roam the wood for too long, you'll waste away and become a Stalfos. That's what they always told us back home."
no subject
"Oh s-sorry, I'm not really lost, jus' thinking I guess." She looked at her curiously, studying her carefully.
"I haven't met you before, are you new?"
no subject
"What is it that you're thinking of?"

"I'm Ronnae, Ronnae 'Mash Belore Ryllos. I work in different part of the Engineering department and will gladly help you in anything you might need, engineering related or not." Buying time for the win?
She looks up in thought as she looks less in distress. "Nothing in particular really. Just wondering about things I should or need to do. What the crew needs, doing my part for the mission... Boring stuff really." She sighed as she turned to face her.

Lash had had a plan, you see. One that was getting to the middle of the labyrinth and finding out just what special prize (she hoped) was centered in there. So, with a rope tied to her stomach she had cautiously ventured into it and...somewhere the rope had broken. Perhaps rubbing against the walls or something else had cut it, she wasn't sure.
But if you wanted piece and quiet you weren't having it from a loud afro haired kid.
"Stupid rope! Stupid maze!" At least she had the smart idea of doing turns only to the left, so going out wouldn't be a problem..or so she hoped. If that thing had magic she was totally screwed.
Does Lash want to talk to Princess! or Imp!Midna?
Either or, surprise me. 8Uc

Unconsciously, she had raised her hands to call out her morpher if trouble presented itself.
"I-I'm not kicking anything at all! You wouldn't know anyway!"
