Girl Talk (bendytimed to before podpop)

Samus was taking part in one of the few luxuries she had here on the ship: the amenities of the crew lounge. She leaned back in the leather armchair, taking a sip of her whiskey coffee and tapped a few times on her omnicomm with her free hand. She was busy at work. It was nice to get out of the office. She didn't have to stare at the empty side off the office that way.

Not that she missed the other Chief of Security or it bothered her at all. Nope. Not one bit.

Samus looked up briefly from her work. She gave the girl a nod of recognition before glancing back at her omnicomm. She wasn't exactly the kind to initiate small talk.

Hikari nodded back, before she moved over at sat down. There was... well, something familiar about this woman, but she couldn't really place it. Like, she should know who this person is.

Then again, there were still lots of people on the ship that she didn't know, so for all she knew this could be the case as well. Maybe she should ask...

She took a deep breath. "Umm... hi. You... look a little familiar, but I can't place where I've seen you before..."

"Hmn?" She looked up from her work again. Samus had probably seen this girl before, but she couldn't remember any encounters. "I do patrol the ship quite often as security. Possibly then."

Hikari nodded. "I see. That'd... probably explain it. Between that time with that virus that made everyone angry and attack people and then this last thing that happened with that near unstoppable criminal... I probably saw you then."
