Ouch. [Open; dated to after the second open KAIN post]
A silvery-white fog shot down from the City's sky to land in the midst of a street, where it reformed into the figure of one Remus Lupin. His first act upon Apparating was to cry out in pain and collapse as his broken leg buckled beneath him. His second act, which came some time later, was to marvel that he had not splinched himself in the course of his escape.
He could only hope that he had bought the other people on the ship enough time to mount an attack that had some hope of stopping KAIN. He had known from the beginning that he did not have enough magical might to repel the being... he would feel rather foolish if all he had done was get himself injured to no cause.
Rolling onto his back with a groan, he thrust his wand skyward and shot from it a cascade of sparks high into the air, in the hopes that someone might come to investigate, and perhaps render some aid.

"What the Hell happened to you?"

Lupin shifted to bring his wand to bear on the animated body, jostled his leg, and nearly dropped the wand out of pain. That was perhaps fortunate; it gave him time to realize that Inferi, as a rule, generally did not move with that sort of coordination, restrain themselves from attacking, wield weapons, or speak. As nightmarish as this sight was to a veteran of the war, he had no choice but to conclude this was yet another of the crew members.
He was never going to get used to all of this.
"A... being, threatening to kill a child on the ship," he said. "I did what I could to slow him down, but his strength was rather alarming."

"You hurt?"
Yeah, sucks for the kid, but she's not risking her unlife for them.

"I can take a look at it, but I'm not a doctor."
She doesn't care all that much either. "You just want to get to medbay, yeah?"

She was being rather sedate about the whole affair, really.
"Too much to hope that you can walk, right?"

"Well. Let me see." He tapped his leg gingerly with his wand. "Ferula." Bandages immediately sprang up to wrap themselves around his leg, binding it quite tightly to a splint.
"A poor solution, but a necessary one," he said philosophically. "Shall we see if I can stand any weight?"
Herp, sorry.
Karis extended a bony hand. Fortunately for any sensibilities that Remus might have, it's (mostly) covered in leather and plate. "C'mere, old timer."

The sparks caught her attention, and she flew her glider over, searching for whoever had set them off.

Aqua saw Lupin quickly and swooped down, dropping to the ground on her feet while transforming her glider back into Keyblade form.
"Are you hurt?" she asked, already giving him a once over. The way he had his leg didn't look good to her.
Slow tags never bother me.
However, the person who had appeared was most certainly not his foe. His wand, briefly raised in defiance, now dropped back to his side as he breathed raggedly out. He wore that sort of ragged grey cast to his skin with odd familiarity. It looked somehow natural.
"A broken leg, I'm afraid," he said with a rough attempt at good humor. "I was fortunate."
Re: Slow tags never bother me.
"Let me see," she said, noticing the pained pallor of his face. "How used to you to magical healing? Any resistance?"
no subject
"Before I woke on this ship," he said with an effort at good humor, "I had never stopped to consider any other sort of healing."

Aqua found it in her to smile, despite the grim circumstances.
"That's a relief, then," she said, holding her Keyblade over his leg. "I'm going to try a mild healing spell. I don't want to try anything stronger if we've got doctors who do a better job than I can."
Cure alone would be enough to at least set the bone properly and begin the mending process. The rest would be left to the professionals. Green light came from the Keyblade, moving over Lupin's leg.
Yuck. Also, why do I always botch the HTML on this one spell?
"Madame Pomfrey could not have done it better," he said, cautiously turning the leg. "But best not to take chances."
Muttering "Ferulo," he tapped his leg with his wand, causing bandages to bind it tightly to a splint.

"Haro," Lockon ordered softly. Obediently, the little orange robot glided over to Lockon's shoulder as they walked a little more cautiously towards the site.

Haro flapped his ears twice and then drifted off the way they'd come.
"Everything going to be all right until then?"
