Super(angry)girl [Open]
Anyone who walked in on Kara Zor-El in the Sensorium would walk in on a pretty, blonde girl dressed in a slight variation of her usual Supergirl look, kicking the proverbial tar out of a shiny, silver punching bag. Though Kara had worked hard on conserving her powers - after all, they only recharged under a yellow sun - she knew that she needed to be prepared in the even that her powers failed her. Which was why she was currently going over things that she learned while staying with the Amazons on Themyscira, from back when she'd first landed on Earth.
At least, that's what she was telling herself.
In truth, if she cared to admit it to herself, was that what had at first been hurt and fear had given way to anger, and short of Kal or Kon, there were not many people on the meatship who could actually spar with Kara without Stacy having to intervene for fear of Kara's opponent's life. Kara let out a grunt as she let out a series of hook kicks. She stepped back then and stretched.
"Drop the illusion," she said, her breath ragged. That she'd managed to break a sweat at all surprised Kara. It also pleased her, though it hadn't done anything for her anger.
Let her come by me one more time, she thought to herself as she reattached her cape and belt to her plantsuit. Then I'll let loose with my anger.
She brushed her hair off of her shoulder and walked out into the corridor. Gotta find something to do, in the meantime.

There was then the sound of a brief confirmation of another voice, before doors slid close, feet started moving, and around a corner near Kara, a flash of white hair showed itself, before continuing to move on, taking no notice whatsoever of the Kryptonian. A body marked by a black tank-top, capri pants, tennis shoes, and a bobbing white ponytail. In her arms were two large boxes, which she carried with relative ease.
There was a tune beneath her breath, as she walked along, heading toward the tubes.

Before she could decide where, exactly, she wanted to go, she saw a flash of white hair.
Kara's eyes narrowed.
One...two...oh screw it.
She went in the direction of the bobbing white ponytail.

Then around a particular corner, she stopped her humming, but still the spring in her step remained. At the tubes, she made it over to one, unloaded her boxes, then stepped in - "City, if you will, goodship" - and was whooshed away.

As soon as Nura was out of the way, Kara sped towards the tubes. "Follow that platinum blonde!" she yelled before being whooshed away.

"Hello, Nura."

She then descended to the ground, within an area surrounded with houses. She shifted the boxes in arms once again and continued walking. Ignoring Kara completely.

Again. Ignoring Kara.

Rolling her eyes, she started up the stairs to the next level of the house.

Politely.
Come on, Nura. Answer it. It'd be rude not to.

Shaking her head, she went down the stairs, to the door, unlocked it, then opened it. She put a hand on her hip and arched a brow. "Can I help you?"
no subject
"You can help me understand why you were being such a raging babootch the other day," Kara said evenly. "And why you were talking about things that made absolutely no sense." She raised an eyebrow. "It was entirely uncalled for, and if it's a future-PMS thing, I get it. But if it's not, you got some 'splainin' to do." She paused, and thought for a second. "Also? What's with all the boxes? We're on a spaceship in the middle of Rao knows where. How much stuff do you possibly have to pack?" That last part wasn't in quite as bitchy a tone as the rest of her words.

Instead, she glared sternly at Nura. "Did you not hear what I said earlier? Before the box thing? Or were you dreaming, then?"
no subject
"It wasn't until we used Kryptonite did you finally start to get it."

Trick the noose around. "Let me guess. Around the time he stopped worshiping you, you turned to Julian, and while he didn't outright adore you...he certainly appreciated you for your talents." She scoffed. "...though you were on your back then."
She reached up and flicked her ponytail over her shoulder. "Truth of the matter is, you're not quite impressive, Kara. You're a dressed-up, powered little doll who just wants to be played with. You're even sleeping with Stacy-ala Ken. Who we both know probably still thinks of the beautiful girl that came before you." She glanced to the side, smirking. "...or maybe all those other girls he's tried to hit on and have sex with." Her eyes went back to Kara, hard and mean.
"I hope that the Querl who was here before. I hope that he found another girl. One who appreciated him. One who didn't demand attention at every corner. One who didn't throw her little fits when he didn't give her what she wanted. I truly do. But you know what makes me know that I am better than you?"
She folded her arms. "You had your chance with Querl. You had it. And you lost it. Not once did he look back. Not once did he think again of that silly little girl with the skirt and the toy cape. Not once did he want to be close to you. He chose another girl. And to her...he gave and she accepted." She didn't say who the girl was. For all she knew, the previous Querl could have moped over Kara for the end of time, but that didn't mean as much. Someone like Kara? You stared and you ooed and you awed, until you realized the glitter was false and that the paint was smeared.
"So you go back to your Ken, Barbie. Go back and wait around for it all to fall down. Me?" She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm going to stay in love with someone who loves me not just for my sexuality. Someone who wouldn't flirt with another girl because his...current one...is not there. I'm also going to care for my children, and teach my daughter to look at you and think..."
She sighed.
"I never want to end up like her."
She then shut the door in Kara's face, locked it, and headed up stairs, exhausted.

What the hell is it with this woman going on a long rant and then leaving? she wondered, tightening her fists. Her eyes glowed red, and beneath her skin, Kara could feel the familiar prickling of crystal. She closed her eyes and counted, in Kryptonese, to ten.
She opened her eyes again. Okay, clearly, breaking the door down and tearing Nura's hair out strand by strand was not the most viable option here, no matter how infuriating the Naltorian was.
But there were other options. Kara just needed to decide on how best to handle that situation.
The Kryptonian turned around and headed away. She'd find a way to deal with that snagriff later.

up to and including yelling at Abby-san for his explosionshad kept the little woman on the move. She currently had a stack of data pads in her arms, from combing the archives for interesting dresses. If Rein had enough fabric left, and Nanoha agreed to the designs, then maybe there wouldn't be such a trainwreck bridesmaid dresses after all.Still, it was such a shame she was having a Western-style wedding. Traditional, in Miku's very biased opinion, was best. Miku turned a corner a little too sharply, and nearly ran face-first into Kara. "I'm so sorry! Oh god, I really have to watch where I'm going and --- Kara-chan?"

Anyway, back to the present, "He's very sweet, and kind of... mm... I don't know the word for it, exactly." She knocked on the door of a sensorium, and finding it empty (as Kara had previously left it), stepped inside.
Sorry for the superlate reply! >.<
IT'S OKAY, I STILL LOVE YOU.
"I promise he really isn't as abrasive as he can be on the channel." The sensoriums around them took the usual setting of her former home, though this time, in the sunken living room stood a dummy made of clear Plexiglas, on a lit, white cube. Miku's plantsuit changed into a miniskirt and a dark pink turtleneck with tiny, black seed buttons up the neck. "Kara-chan, I'll really value your opinion!"

"Getting in some quality time in the Sensoriums, huh?"

"Okay. Alien bug artificial intelligence. Sorry Khaji. And I think you'd just end up punching me through walls."

In fact, that was partially why she was in the predicament she was in now.
Gotta find a way to talk to Sofia about her crazy friend.
She turned to Jaime. "Have you ever had someone hate you for seemingly no reason at all?"
no subject
"Uh, yeah. Not really. That sounds pretty harsh."
