Home Searching [Open]

Irma couldn't explain what she was doing right now.

Okay, she could: she was busy poking through the various houses brought on board and left abandoned. But, she couldn't explain why. True, the W.I.T.C.H. Bus had her own awesome room and rooms for Hay Lin and Will (as well as a bunch of others), but for Irma it didn't feel like it was enough. As much she enjoyed it, she felt that there should be some sort of place to call their own. Or at the very least, a backup home.

She found one almost right off the bat, though - a large, two story house on the other side of the Kohaku River. Stepping inside, Irma was a bit impressed with what she saw inside. By all accounts, it had a few necessities for them to live in - a number of bedrooms, a kitchen just in case. It might take a few raids of other places, but it seemed like a good place to stay.

The only problem would be: would Will and Hay Lin go for it?

Katara had been near the Kohaku river herself: it was where he had lived near once, and he had been a member of the Outsiders. Every once and awhile she came here just to remind her that he had been here, much like others Katara met who had come and gone. What was surprising today was that there was a bit of noise coming from the houses.

She got up to investigate, and then came across someone she hadn't seen in a bit: there was Irma, one of Mat's friends, and the girl who had Katara's favorite room on the W.I.T.C.H. bus.

"Hi Irma," Katara said. "What are you up to?"

"No, I hear you!" Katara said, laughing. "I'm actually looking for a place that isn't in the hotel for the Outsiders. It's nice, but I think its about time to look for a place of your own, you know?"

She shrugged. "So how have you been?"

Oh. Well that scenario was actually pretty familiar, even if she hadn't gotten to go to the planet.

"Really?" Katara said, looking hard at Irma. "Tell me about it. It might help. I won't judge...I had some things I was gong through myself."

Katara thought a moment. There was a lot of reason to use the word love, she had said it herself. There was still a lot to learn when it came to what people confessed.

"So you care about them more than most people would say you should. Please, tell me about them."

Oh, she knew enough when it came to Will. Hay Lin was a little more obscure, but she knew enough with Irma. She still had choices.

"Will is a pretty powerful person all her own," Katara said. "I can't blame you for having reservations, but you're a pretty strong person yourself Irma. I'd hope you could make the person you care abut fall for you: they'd be stupid not to."

"Ben's...threesome?!" Was that actually something? "What do you mean? A threesome with who?"

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2011-03-03 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ok, that made a little more. Seriously though, what was wit people saying threesomes should happen? Overlord Zetta had already suggested that.

"Would you be ok with two people?" Katara asked.

"If it worked out, that would be nice," Katara said, "but life is never easy that way. I mean, people tend to get so caught up with one person, having another to deal with is just overwhelming enough. I'd say try and see what they're thinking get an idea where their heads are. What harm could it cause?"

And here, despite being a hypocrite about it, she took her hands.
"Don't talk that way, Irma. Your happiness matters just as much as anyone elses! I'm not saying they'll go for it, but give your own happiness a shot! Chances are, those people you care about want you to be happy too."

She smiled back. "Yeah, you should! I mean, they're from your world, they know you most of all!"

It was sad that the two of them hadn't talked more. "Hey, I know I never asked, but...would you mind showing me your room?"

Katara let Irma lead her to the bus, and was happy to accompany her to this new place.

She grinned, walking with her to the newer place. "Open it, show me! I'd love to see what it looks like!"
