Home Searching [Open]
Irma couldn't explain what she was doing right now.
Okay, she could: she was busy poking through the various houses brought on board and left abandoned. But, she couldn't explain why. True, the W.I.T.C.H. Bus had her own awesome room and rooms for Hay Lin and Will (as well as a bunch of others), but for Irma it didn't feel like it was enough. As much she enjoyed it, she felt that there should be some sort of place to call their own. Or at the very least, a backup home.
She found one almost right off the bat, though - a large, two story house on the other side of the Kohaku River. Stepping inside, Irma was a bit impressed with what she saw inside. By all accounts, it had a few necessities for them to live in - a number of bedrooms, a kitchen just in case. It might take a few raids of other places, but it seemed like a good place to stay.
The only problem would be: would Will and Hay Lin go for it?

She got up to investigate, and then came across someone she hadn't seen in a bit: there was Irma, one of Mat's friends, and the girl who had Katara's favorite room on the W.I.T.C.H. bus.
"Hi Irma," Katara said. "What are you up to?"

She shrugged. "So how have you been?"
no subject
A beat.
"Emotionally, that is."
no subject
"Really?" Katara said, looking hard at Irma. "Tell me about it. It might help. I won't judge...I had some things I was gong through myself."
no subject
"I love my friends." Irma said. A brief beat before she added "I mean, I love my friends. Not just that friendly love, that... well..."
no subject
"So you care about them more than most people would say you should. Please, tell me about them."
no subject
She shook her head, pulling her legs up. "They both know, though. Hay Lin's accepting and Will doesn't want to deal with it yet. And yet... I don't know. Maybe I'm scared."
no subject
"Will is a pretty powerful person all her own," Katara said. "I can't blame you for having reservations, but you're a pretty strong person yourself Irma. I'd hope you could make the person you care abut fall for you: they'd be stupid not to."

Sheesh...!

"Would you be ok with two people?" Katara asked.
no subject
She shrugged a bit. "I still have time, though. 'Sides, their happiness is more than my own."
no subject
And here, despite being a hypocrite about it, she took her hands.
"Don't talk that way, Irma. Your happiness matters just as much as anyone elses! I'm not saying they'll go for it, but give your own happiness a shot! Chances are, those people you care about want you to be happy too."
no subject
"Thanks. At this point, I guess all I can do now is try it and see...!" she said.
no subject
It was sad that the two of them hadn't talked more. "Hey, I know I never asked, but...would you mind showing me your room?"

Heading upstairs, Irma lead her fellow water controller to a set of five doors, Irma leading her into the second, spacious one. "See? Dibs!"
no subject
She grinned, walking with her to the newer place. "Open it, show me! I'd love to see what it looks like!"
