There are many places a kid shouldn't wander around in.

One of those places is the hangar.

Sasami had gotten a bit curious about the hangar and what was inside it, prompting her to head in and take a look around. Granted, she wanted to do so long ago, attempting to find her old ship, but things had gotten hectic and she had completely forgotten about it. Did it really matter much now? Probably not, but it would be nice to have something from home.

Wandering around the hangar, she had started to feel a bit intimidated - cars and motorcycles are one thing, but X-Wings and Gundams and Zords and all that? Seeing them larger than life made them awe-inspiring and just a bit scary...

Brushing her hair away, Reimi sighed as she lowered herself on the platform. FINALLY! The ship was back to normal. Alien gunk scraped off, holes patched, all of it.

Looking down, she noticed the blue haired girl wandering and Reimi waved. "Hi!"

Sasami jumped a bit as she heard Reimi calling out to her. Turning her head, she couldn't help and smile at the other girl, waving as she did.

"Oh, hi! I didn't interrupt anything, did I?"

Lowering herself to Sasami's level, Reimi shook her head. "No, not really. I was in need of a break actually. You're one of the kids, um... Saaaa... um, what's your name?"

Letting a giggle leave her lips, Sasami helped her out. "My name's Sasami! It's a pleasure to meet you, ahh..."

Now, it was her turn to find out a name!

"Reimi," replied Reimi, drawing out her name a little. "Sasami's a cute name I have to admit. Nicer than say Edge."

Sasami couldn't help but blush, bashful over the compliment. "Th-thanks, Reimi... your name's nice, too...!"

Reimi grinned as she patted Sasami on the shoulder. "Did you come to look at the ships and mecha? This is mine, the Calnus, um, three I think. It's been upgraded since I last worked with it."

"Well... I was trying to find something from my world, but I don't know if it would be here..." Sasami admitted, though, she couldn't help but look at the ship before her. "...it's really yours?"

"Typically things end up here," said Reimi. "Even if they were broken in the first place. And yes, this is mine. I kind of live here for the time being. Although I'm also bunking with Nura once in a while."

Sasami couldn't help but blink at what she just heard. "Wh-why are you sleeping in there? Isn't it uncomfortable?"

"Well it's a little more private, and I have an actual bed with sheets," admitted Reimi. "And I don't really want to be round Nura and Querl when they're being adults."

Walking in on them once before was bad enough.

"If you want, you're welcome to stay in my home." Sasami said. "It's that giant tree in the City. It's pretty furnished, though I doubt Aqua-neesan and Hoshi-neesan would mind another person joining them...!"

"Really? Well I don't mind that at all," said Reimi with a nod. "But do you think it's okay for me just to come barging in?"

"Well, I don't think it'll be a problem. You're not rowdy, are you?" Sasami asked, a little curious. Reimi certainly didn't look like the type to be that way, but...

"Haha no, I'm not rowdy. I'm actually fairly quiet when I'm around people unless they need a good talking to," admitted Reimi.

"How about you? You seem fairly energetic."

"Then, I don't think you'd have a problem fitting in...!" Sasami said, nodding.

"Actually, I'm quite nice, though... I have to admit, I haven't had much in terms of friends."

"Well I could be your friend too," said Reimi with a little grin. "I got a long with Lymle back home so it should be all right in the end, right?"

She patted Sasami's shoulder. "Friends are good, right?"

"Uh-huh...!" Sasami said, nodding. She did find it weird that a lot of her friends were actually older (physically) than her - Hay Lin, Aqua, Hoshi and now Reimi - but at the same time, it was great: it was like having older sisters of a sort.

"Um, Reimi? Do you mind if I look inside your ship?"

"Of course! Here, I'll give you the grand tour."

The door slid open at Reimi's command and she grinned at Sasami as she hopped off the work platform, and gestured so that she'd follow her up the small flight of stairs.

With that, Sasami followed suit, trailing right behind Reimi and trying not to get left behind. Stacy was big and confusing as it was. Didn't want to get lost in anything smaller...!

Thankfully the Calnus was extremely easy to navigate, since it consisted of pretty much a straight line. Stepping into the main room Reimi gestured about. "This is the main room for all of the crew," she said, showing the room with two vending machines, a small bar-like area and a couple of couches back to back.

"This is where we usually spend our time when we were on missions during travel periods. Through that door between the stairs is the meeting room where we can also synthesize items and weapons. Through here," and Reimi rapped a nearby door. "Is where the bridge is."

Sasami couldn't help but look at everything in wide-eyed awe. It was so simple, yet it was probably everything Reimi really needed! Though "synthesize items and weapons"? Sounded like something out of a game!

She turned her head to face Reimi, her pink eyes filled with curiosity. "Can I see the bridge?"

"Of course! Here."

Leading Sasami through the double doors, the bridge stood there with the Captains Chair in the far back of it, four sets of consoles surrounding the room. There were about six chairs to either side and not more than once Reimi remembered them being full of life between trips.

"This is the captains chair." said Reimi as she circled around it and stepped down the stair towards the consoles. "Navigation, Engineering, the helm and astrometrics."

"Wow..." Sasami uttered, looking around the ship. So much different than the ships from Jurai. Almost Galaxy Police-like. At the same time, though, seeing a ship like this and Reimi by herself...?

She moved to approach Reimi and hugged her tightly.

For a moment, Reimi was surprised at the sudden hug but then hugged her back. "Thanks," she said gratefully. "You're alone like I am. But with friends."
