Boredom [Open[
She was on the observation deck again. She always ended up back here when she walked around the ship for lack of anything better to do. The Sensoriums didn't matter much to her, the media library had nothing she wanted to look at. Here, she could stare out at the bleed and be just as bored as she would be anywhere else on the ship. It wasn't as if there was anything else to do but try and keep herself ready for everything going crazy again. It had happened too many times for her to think that the rest of this trip was going to be dull and relatively free of danger.
She flexed her fingers together, hands buried in the single pocket of the slightly-over large sweatshirt she'd picked up. At least the ship still had that stash of normal clothing for her to raid from. It was loose, baggy - just the way she liked it. The fact that she was able to stash a few dozen knives inside of the thing helped.
What were they going to end up doing, anyway?
Mai sighed softly and turned away to take in the rest of the observation deck. Relatively empty for the moment, but who knew when someone was going to show up and bother her? How irritating.

"Sorry I was watch where I'd been. It was more important." She insisted trying to push down the silent mocking laughter of her brother.

Mai didn't particularly believe that, but she didn't really care either.
"Why's that?" She asked. She sounded horrifically bored by the whole thing, so whether she was actually curious or just being polite was up to interpretation.

"I got tricked into kissing my best friend's boyfriend. She should probably kill me." She remarked and shot another glance at the door as if she expected Ruffnut to come crashing through it with an axe.

Well, Mai could sympathize. Sort of. She wasn't sure what'd she do if she caught Zuko kissing someone who wasn't her in a romantic fashion. Knives first, then questions. Probably.
"Sounds fascinating."
Not really.

"I mean it's not like I blame her. It's what I would do if I was in her boots, but I'm not exactly eager to go to the land of the gods just yet."

"Maybe you shouldn't have kissed him."

She shrugged and glanced toward the door. "Yeah. Sure. I'll warn you."
Not like it cost her anything.

"Back home we lived for the moment. You never knew when it was gonna be your time to go and leave the world behind ya know? You fought hard, played hard, and hoped a dragon didn't eat you." Sounded alot better to her "Don't you do anything for fun?"

An apt description of her attitude.

Ruffnut probably should've expected that one.

Mai would never understand why people got quite so worked up about the fact that she just didn't care.
