Half-carrying Eva into the house, Marco soon maneuvered her to the couch. "Move from there and I'm never buying you a fancy car again," he said, before moving off to start looking through the house.

"Cassie?" he said, yelling. "Cassie!"

"Because a fancy car did us so much good on our marathon back from the Great Wall," she gripes. She has no intention of moving from the couch, though. She's more likely to doze off on it than she is to try and get up again. "It's only a flesh wound, Marco. Superficial injury. No need to yell."

Still, it helps to have a small physical thing to fret over and do something about rather than really thinking about the events of the last few hours.

Cassie was just making her way down the stairs when Marco called. She didn't really know what had been going on, being that she never really checked the omnicom much.

"What?" She asked, she didn't really think much of his yelling at first either.

"Just another chapter in my exciting charmed life," she says dryly, but a glance at her would show that she's badly shaken up and barely holding it together. "It's just a welt and some blood. You put ice on it and keep it elevated. Doctor Cassie, tell him that you put ice on it and keep it elevated."

Cassie had always been one to understand emotions by subtle hints and knowing the person, so after not only hearing Marco's reply but seeing Eva too, she almost instantly became serious. Even if there hadn't been much physical damage, it would have effected both of them in other ways.

"It depends. Where's it at?" She kept herself from asking about any more details yet, instead she focused on the physical injury and looked over Eva to see if there was any signs of any other injury.

"I was whipped with water," she says, pulling her hair up and clipping it. It's a pretty large welt, running diagonally across the back of her neck, though at least the edges are no longer bleeding. She clutches the couch in her hands and braces herself for it be examined.
