It's Beeen Awhile, Hasn't It...? [Closed]

For the most part, Vivio wasn't dwelling too much on her grandmother's appearance and what she would do when the time came. Instead, she decided to try to keep up with her training for today. At least to try to keep her mind off of it. Staying in the library was just a bit boring after awhile.

Entering the room, she began to set everything up. A simple training room appeared before her as she went for Sacred Heart.

"Ready for a workout, Kris?" Vivio asked. The plushie nodded as Vivio prepared to transform, not knowing she would get a visitor.

All this time, and her stupid book hadn't given her any information. And with Fletcher gone and Vega unavailable for the time being, it was beginning to look like she didn't have anyone to rely on. She could absolutely not tell her parents, they would probably freak out and take the book away. And if the Faun hadn't died yet, he surely would soon.

Sherry didn't want him to have died because of her. However, since the Labyrinth was in the City, and the City was currently home to a pile of people running around being possessed, Sherry picked the next best place: the Sensoriums. It would figure that someone would be in the one that she picked.

"Oh, it's you." Sherry sighed at Vivio.

"No, not really," Sherry replied and adjusted the large leather-bound book in her hands. It was too big to fit in her leather bag, but she didn't want to be without it, either. "I've just been thinking about somethings, now that I'm not in GLaDOS."

"For two weeks, and it didn't help that I hate cake," Sherry said with her usual rancor. Listening to GLaDOS rant over and over about how she had cake for them at the end of it only made her want to shoot all the cameras in the mazes.

"And it's just, you know. Things. Stuff," she shifted the old book in her hands again. "But I don't know if I should tell you." You were a stool pigeon, Vivio.

Oh good, Vivio did have a face other than, Let's be friends! and I'm throwing you under the bus!!

Sherry shrugged again, "So, there's that." She turned away from Vivio and stopped a moment, looking at the book again. "Have you become a better secret-keeper?"

Sherry seemed slightly suspicious of Vivio's assurance, but she didn't really have anyone else to trust right now, did she?

And would her parents really believe a giant goat-man gave her a book and tasked her with quests? Well, maybe, but that wasn't the point. "There's nothing wrong, exactly, but I'm afraid someone is going to die soon if this book doesn't start talking to me. Figuratively, of course." Because books, barring that creeper in the City always gyahahahahahaing didn't talk.
