Not Hogwarts, though apologies for disappointing. [Open]

Sensoriums.

He had been in them once or twice now, always when another person was using them. He recognized the great risk in this, but had taken every precaution he could think to take. Most particularly, he simply did not know what a sudden exposure to a full moon -- as opposed to the gradual approach that characterized proper revolution of the lunar orbit -- would do to him.

Nonetheless, he believed, after all these years, that he could sense the oncoming change. That he would have a few moments to react, to hurl himself out the door if he began to feel that peculiar sensation of strength and weakness at once, that characterized its onset. And so far, he had been lucky. He had not needed to put his theory to the test.

Now, however, Remus Lupin stood outside the sensorium door, afraid to step in. For he knew no one had occupied this one. When he entered, it would be his to mold and shape. And, should it reveal what he feared, what he subconsciously expected, rather than what he chose...

He had not always feared his curse so. Indeed, fear was something he head learned as he grew older, and wiser. And there it was. Fear. Some Gryffindor.

Taking a breath, he stepped inside.

There was no moon, nor any cause for fear, as he stepped out of the brick wall onto Platform 9 3/4. The brilliant scarlet train sat just ahead of him, its engine huffing, but the platform was empty as he had never seen it before. So it truly was as one wished it, and not simply like a Pensieve...

"Amazing," he said, relaxing -- though he still held his wand, proof against who knows what foe.

That made Jr. curious - being afraid of the time you've reproduced because you weren't completely sure which version of it that came to mind? Though he was curious, the idea of it wasn't strange, it was like him and Miltia - either an planet long abandoned due to war, or a version of it still in the midst of it. That he thought about that, Jr. decided to try not and ever think it up out of fear of the latter - that was the version most burned into own mind, after all. He wondered if Lupin's case was any bit similar.

"Where does it take you?"

"An achievement? I'll say, that sounds like a pretty awesome school to go to! You said you teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, right? What kind of place is the school?"

Jr. pictured robes and wands and broomsticks and all sorts of those things you'd read about in stories and myths. Of course he was right, but he didn't actually know that just yet.

"Nice," he said, "one day you'll have to let us see it in here!"

He looked back up at the train. "So this is how people get there every year? That's pretty modern. I'd almost expect flying or something."

"I guess that makes sense ... sounds like kids could go a little crazy with magic, if it's as cool as it sounds."

When Jr. thought of 'magic' outside of the things he'd imagine in worlds like Lupin's, he also thought of Ethers in his own world. Even though they technically existed through the U.M.N. "What kind of magic is there to do where you're from?"

Jr. listened, nodding along as Lupin spoke. Some of those classes certainly sounded interesting - Transfiguration? What kind of potions did they make? He had a lot of questions, but wasn't sure if he should swamp Lupin with all of them-- or at least, not all at once. So for now, he just stuck with the one that stood out the most.

"Magical creatures?"

"What kind are there?"

The only one Jr. could think of was a unicorn. Or a pegasus.

"That sounds awesome!" Jr. smiled. He had enough creatures where came from ... and aside from whatever the Gnosis were, their odd existence aside, they were perfectly normal.

He looked at one of the train's doors. "Can I see inside?"
