I have no power!....Wait, what? [Open]
After the events that have transpired thus far, and being unable to find any of his friends, Judau had not been in the proudest of states now. It didn't comfort him knowing that either everyone was either dead, or stuck in those pods he had came from. For now, waiting patiently was the only thing he could do...But he even failed at that. At least back in Shangri-La, when he had to work, work was more fun than simply sitting on his own thumbs and hoping for something to happen.
Thus explained his second venture into the hangar. There were plenty of Gundams around indeed, each one earning several seconds of gawking at before Judau ran towards the next. But he had not been interested in taking them out instead of his own machine. no matter how colorful or cool their designs had been. Were he still a junk dealer, his mindset would scream at him to take them for himself and sell them for a gigantic profit, one big enough to set him up for life. Tempting as it was, without Leina or any of his friends, it wouldn't do him much good anyway. Currency was good here, sure, but it wasn't enough for him to accomplish his goals.
Upon reaching the further depths of the hangar, there he saw it: The ZZ Gundam at long last. The rest of the machines around it were of little concern now, for Judau had found the one thing he had sought all this time. Even better, it had been repaired! With an ever growing smirk, he rushed to his old machine. Even without his pilot suit, Judau climbed the mecha and onto its chest. His hand pressed the button on the side, wasting no time in getting in there and activating the slumbering mech after all this time.
He moved over to the chair once he stepped in side, sitting atop of it and pressing the buttons to activate the machine. His grin grew even wider as the Gundam lit up, eyes flashing and the inside of the cockpit lighting up. Simply seeing it had brought back quite a few memories, even during the time he had piloted the Zeta Gundam before Roux ended up having to do that job. The cameras adjusted, showing him everything outside of the machine; he always did love the 360 cameras. Gripping the controls, he prepared to move the ZZ.
"Sorry guys, but I gotta do this," he said. "Sitting around here isn't my style! Judau Ashta, ZZ, launch---"
And before he could even prepare those words or fire up the engine, the ZZ Gundam powered down, causing a blackout inside of the cockpit, ceasing the functions of the cameras as well. Judau stared straight forward, jaw-dropped in absolute disbelief over what had just transpired. His eye twitched, and he had grown far too annoyed of all of this.
"You have gotta be kidding me..." he muttered, before finally shouting. "They didn't even bother to recharge the power supply!? What the hell is the point in even storing it if they didn't do that!?"
And so plan B had failed miserably as well. All Judau could do was slump back in his seat and give a sigh of defeat. There was one sliver of good news now: he knew what he could do around the ship for time being.

He quickly moved in the direction all of the noise was coming from, looking up to the ZZ Gundam as Judau shouted. Yzak raised his eyebrows and narrows his eyes.
"Why are you even trying to launch in the first place?" he called up to him.
no subject
"Kinda can't stay here!" he shouted. "Hardly anybody's telling me what is going on here and being sketchy with the details, so I'm handling this my way....at least until the power went out....Don't suppose you know where I can find a new battery or something to get this thing to recharge, do ya?"
no subject
"And where do you think you'd go after launching? Weren't you paying any attention to that voice when you woke up?"
no subject
"Yeah, well, didn't exactly get a lot of info when I first woke up, and not a lot of people are chatty," he replied. "Besides, it's not like I'd be gone forever. The ZZ doesn't have an infinite energy source ya know."
Opening the cockpit at long last, Judau reluctantly stepped out of his Gundam. With it powerless, there was nothing more he could do except what he hated doing the most: waiting. At least now he could gather some information, the correct way this time.
"As much as I can gather, people's worlds are gone, the people they know are either gone or sleeping down in that cave-lab thingy, and we're supposed be what? Champions of justice or something?" he asked. "Anything I am missing, aside from the weird suit?"

"Well isn't that just great," he replied, frowning. Then he stared back at his mobile suit; well, at least he still had something to do here while he waited for future events, as if he had a choice. "Guess me and the ZZ are grounded for now, huh?"
no subject
"Get down here and I'll explain some things to you."

He began his descent by stepping further away from the cockpit, right onto the ZZ's extra armor plate. Something shook, giving Judau some cause for alarm. Another second, and the armor had suddenly become loose, slipping off the mobile suit! Panicking, Judau leapt back onto his mobile suit, allowing the armor to fall below, right near Yzak!
"Look out!" he shouted.

"W-WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
no subject
"Damn armor wasn't set right!" he replied, a bit angry as well. "Man, first no power, and now the extra armor is loose too!? Sheesh, if I had flown, the ZZ might have tripped in this place!"
Realizing what had transpired moments ago, Judau looked over back at Yzak, noticing he was none to pleased. The young Newtype still smiled, chuckling a bit while scratching the back of his head; oh he had no doubts he was in for an earful. "But hey...you are alive! That's good, right?"
no subject
"What, are all mobile suits where you some from this flimsy?! That's not going to be any help for us at all!"

He crossed his arms and huffed. "Who's the idiot who decided to stop working on it, then?"
no subject
"Well, I did have some mechanics working on this thing, but...well..." Judau scratched the back of his head, being reminded why he could help out himself. After such an event and battle, he had hardly been in the condition to do anything for a good while. "Forget it. Let's just say I was too busy before getting backed up into that little pod."

...but then as quickly as it had powered on, it powered off again. Kira blinked, a bit puzzled... and then headed in that direction to investigate.

There was just one problem with that...
Looking around the cavernous hangar, he realized what that problem had been. "Okay...The one time science class could have come in handy...Great."

There was a figure up by the cockpit, a young man he didn't recognize.
"Hello?" He called up. "What are you doing?"
no subject
"I was trying to start up the ZZ to get out of here," he replied, looking back at his Gundam before sighing heavily. "Yeah, that plan ain't gonna happen now. Got a spare battery or something to charge it back up?"
