Alternative Theories [OPEN]
Magic.
Setsuna didn't believe in such a thing. Sure, he had seen some amazing things in his life, a few of which had left him awed, but all of it could be explained away bysaying "GN particles did it" science and rational explanation. But, when it came to what was happening to him, science hadn't been able to come up with an answer, thus far.
Which was why he was in the Jedi Temple, home of the Mystical Department.
Well, that was partially why. He probably should be down in the science lab, undergoing a battery of test to see just what he was changing into, but he didn't much trust this ship or this crew. At the least, he'd wait for Tieria to check the labs out, then perhaps they could get started cracking open the mystery that is "Innovation."
But while the labs were being checked out, he figured he'd at least research an alternate perspective on the matter. The Mystical Department did handle matters of the mental and metaphysical, so he figured they might have something to offer. He was in the Temple Library, looking through a number of books, in the faint hope that one of them might be able to shed a bit of light on his situation.

"Do you know if any of these magical or mental abilities have anything to do with something called 'quantum brainwaves?'"

"Thooough I'm not really big on how magic works. I'm just a magic user. Think o' it like this, a lot of people can use computers, but most o' us can't tell you all about how they work."
Aaand she stops. "This here's all about telepathic magic."
no subject
"But don't you think you should know how your magic works, so you can use it to its full potential?"

"But even the foremost scientists don't really understand everything at work in Midchildan and Velkan magic. It's like gravity, sometimes we know what the effects are, but we don't know for sure how or why it works the way it does."
"And that's not to get into the schools of magic from other world's than my own. Sometimes I wonder if magic is just a word for things we don't understand."
no subject
"Perhaps. Though I believe that anything in the universe can be understood, if given enough time."

"So, why telepathy in particular? If I may ask~"

... She looked a little sheepish. "The magic department is a little scattered 'cause we're all working with different kinds o' magic based on different principles."

So it was entirely possible that none of the books there could have the answers he was looking for. Still, he might find something insightful while searching. He wasn't sure where to begin, though, and glanced over at the girl.
"Which ones would you recommend?"

"I'll begin with these," he informed her, simply.
"...thank you," he added, after a moment of hesitation, like he just remembered that he should say that.
