[Closed - bendytimed to just after the Lensmen arrived]
Late one evening, the Drunken Dragon was facing an invasion - by a small, brown mouse crawling around inside the walls.
Sure, Marco could have just walked in through the door. But this wasn't a meeting he wanted to advertise, so he'd morphed mouse in an empty house a few buildings down, run over to the tavern, and snuck in.
Crawling out of a hole in the wall, Marco climbed onto one of the shelves behind the bar. He run along the shelf, keeping behind the bottles and pottery so that he was out of the customer's sight. When he was behind Kang, he stopped.
<I'll have a Martini - shaken, not stirred,> Marco said in private thought-speak to Kang.

Casually, he finished what he was doing and excused himself, telling Kaylee that he'd be back soon and to call if she needed help with anything. He left the tavern and headed straight into the building beside it, locking the door to the storeroom behind him.
"Don't know how to make those, I'm afraid. It's safe here."

Outside he didn't have to worry about any stray feet, but Kang was well ahead of him. He scrambled to keep up, managing into squeeze in just as Kang closed the door.
He looked up at Kang - not that he could see much when he was only a few inches tall - from the floor near Kang's feet. <Come on, you can't expect me to be a spy if you won't even give me any James Bond martinis. Next you'll be telling me I can't even have a Shoe Phone.>

"Yeah, it is," he said casually when he was human enough to talk normally.

Kang carefully stayed where he was until he was sure that he wouldn't step on Marco, then shook his head and returned to the tavern.
