Meet N' Greet

Part of the crew might be gone, but life on the ship goes on. In fact, new people have woken up and, eventually, they've been spat out into the mess hall.

Maybe it's better to introduce them to some of the worst aspects of ship life first, right?

Anyway, the word is out that there's new people, and someone should probably go say hello. Before the n00bs mistake the glop for crew.

"The ship hits if we attack other crew members? I'll remember that."

"Weapons maybe? Armor? Do you know what they keep in there? Are all everyone's possessions in there?" Kelly would kill just to have her knives. At least the knives if not a good gun.

"So that was the first mission? The one Chief went on?" DO you get the feeling that she really doesn't care how disappointed you are that you didn't get to kill anything, Bella? Because she really doesn't care. >_>

"A great many things are in the lockers. I do not know what most of them are. Guns. Swords. Knives. Things I do not know. Armor maybe." That's about as much as Bella understands. Anything that would be a real asset in breaking their way through the ship is locked up somewhere else, but Kelly can probably hope to find whatever weapons she is used to carrying.

"Yes. But now that we know we can be ready. I think all is well, they would tell us if anything had gone wrong. I hope they are back soon."

But awwwwwe, Bella really did want to kill things. She's good at it.

Kelly is jumping up and down and shouting 'YES!' in her head. But outwardly she remains calm, still leaning back against the wall with her arms folded and watching the people who pass. "Wonderful. Can you show me the way there?"

"I think it would be a good idea to stay ready. There's no knowing what kinds of missions we'll get sent on. Or even why. And I wouldn't worry, if Chief is the man I think he is, they'll come back soon."

So's Kelly. But well, she hasn't been here long enough for the inaction to get to her yet.

"I can do this, yes," says Bella.

"Ready? Yes. Always ready. This is good. But man called Chief, I do not trust him." Bella picks up her axe again and starts to leave, heading for the lockers as promised. "Wags says he is of the Weaver." Not to mention that Bella had herself convinced he was another werewolf for a bit, trying to lessen the sting of being firmly shoved back to her place in the lower pecking order by him.

"Thanks. That'd be helpful."

She raises a brow. Not trust John? Who could not trust John? But when Bella starts walking off she falls in step easily, following her. She'll just leave the matter of Master Chief for later. "Weaver?"

Anyone who fought John would think he's a monster anyway. It's just how he is. Not that it's ever bothered Kelly or anything.
