Purifying a Miasma... Maybe.

It was a long, thoughtful walk to the Shrine. The odd, high-pitched whine of something Wrong had faded just as soon as she'd entered Religion Row, and Miku spent the rest of her time rubbing her ears to remove the tickle. It was hard to explain to other people the exact feelings that came with her ability.

But Cargn... understood. To a point, she supposed (considering, of course, that he didn't have eyes and hers were still very much attached). But even that point was much more than someone who had never experienced that plummet of heart and stomach, the loss of color from the world, or the shrill, lingering whine of getting closer and closer to something that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Miku sighed as she entered the Shrine of the Aquila and started looking for her sensei, and his little, strange helper.

"Viginti-san? Cargn-sensei? I'm here," Miku called, and her voice echoed oddly in the Shrine. No, she was never going to get used to how creepy that was.

"If you think the Captain is wrong then you take it up with him and convince him. We have a job to do and right now you're wasting what time we have."

"A single room? We only need one person." He slips out his omnicomm and starts typing. "I'd call it secured right now. There's no other entrances."

...This is gonna take a while. He's a two fingered typist.

"At least two." Wanda corrected him. There were simply too many things that could go wrong with just one guard. "And that would require you to stay here."

If he wanted to take it up with the Captain, well, that was his funeral.

He grits his teeth a little, but he could see where her mind was going. "I'll stay until the Captain changes his mind." Or if he didn't, he'd stay until the other members arrived.

It seems he just won't let go of 'guilty until proven innocent'.

Wanda checked her omnicomm and saw that Kazami had called for security and science teams. Good.

"Thank you." Her words were sharp but she did mean it, she was just too frustrated to realize it.

He just nods and crosses his arms, leaning against the wall. His foot taps impatiently as he waits.

Obviously, this isn't a man used to sitting around a lot. At least he has some measure of self control?
