IIIIIIII love a parade~

Somewhere along the way, Beastboy had lost track of time on board Stacy but he had been shocked to realize what day it would have been back home. After a moment of disappointment a thought struck him and he rushed to the Sensoriums.

The world exploded in noise and sound as New York City appeared in front of him. Confetti and cheers, clowns and music, massive balloons and floats drifting through the buildings as millions of people were recreated by the Sensoriums to re-enact the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Of coarse being Beastboy's memories to fuel this scene the floats, musical number and so on were all from previous years, and some of the balloons and floats had a distinctly Beastboy theme to them.

Like the giant Green Turkey Float holding a sign that suggested trying Tofurkey.

And a Float of Titan's Tower with big headed mascot versions of the Titans waving at the crowd.

Even a massive Captain Carrot Balloon drifted through the air as Beastboy cheered and watched with a twinkle in his eyes. It was so real, the magic of the Sensoriums had brought him somewhere he'd only ever seen on T.V.

And if anyone were to wander in they'd be able to enjoy the show as well.

"Who knew that the ability to turn into a vegetarian tyrannosaur was the cure to a disease that turns you green? Lime Disease?" She says with a small laugh. "Did you learn your lesson about messing around with monkeys?"

Eva's used to thoughtspeak, so she doesn't even think twice. "So I'm guessing I'd be a pretty recognizable pirate, with a rather verdant you on my shoulder."

She laughs. "Young man, you should know that I have a son older than you. You might want to reconsider your flattery."

"And it's a higher number than you're thinking, kid." Still, she's grinning. He's a charming and innocent-seeming enough kid, so she'll just take this as complimentary tomfoolery and not objectionable. "So New York apparently exists in your world. Planet Earth?"

"Huh. I'm from California and I've never heard of Jump City. Then again, I've never heard of diseases that turn you green. And I'm no fan of winter, myself. You can keep your seasons."

She returns the high five. "I liked totally boring. I'd be first in line if they invented a time machine to take us back to the era of total boredom."

"Oh no, I'm plenty used to it." Her expression darkens a little. "Just because insanity invites itself into my life doesn't mean I have to enjoy it, though."

"Gee, somehow the fact that Planet Meatball tortures people and just might be insane doesn't cheer me up. I wonder why," she says dryly.

Good luck with that with Eva. "What, you only remember one parade?"
