IIIIIIII love a parade~
Somewhere along the way, Beastboy had lost track of time on board Stacy but he had been shocked to realize what day it would have been back home. After a moment of disappointment a thought struck him and he rushed to the Sensoriums.
The world exploded in noise and sound as New York City appeared in front of him. Confetti and cheers, clowns and music, massive balloons and floats drifting through the buildings as millions of people were recreated by the Sensoriums to re-enact the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Of coarse being Beastboy's memories to fuel this scene the floats, musical number and so on were all from previous years, and some of the balloons and floats had a distinctly Beastboy theme to them.
Like the giant Green Turkey Float holding a sign that suggested trying Tofurkey.
And a Float of Titan's Tower with big headed mascot versions of the Titans waving at the crowd.
Even a massive Captain Carrot Balloon drifted through the air as Beastboy cheered and watched with a twinkle in his eyes. It was so real, the magic of the Sensoriums had brought him somewhere he'd only ever seen on T.V.
And if anyone were to wander in they'd be able to enjoy the show as well.

He brushes confetti out of his bristly patch of hair and stares openmouthed at all the crazy festivities.

Beastboy could smell someone here who wasn't a recreation from his imagination. It was one of the only ways he could tell what was real in these high tech rooms.
The Elephant trundled over and poked Tavros in the forehead with his trunk just to be sure. Yep, real.

And then the elephant pokes him. Too late it occurs to him that he's in the sensoriums and could have escaped without using any powers.
He stares up at the alien creature with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity.
"Umm... hi?"

A what? Tavros admittedly has no clue. He stares at Beastboy in surprise for a moment, reaches out tentatively, withdraws his hand, then changes his mind and shyly accepts the noisemaker.
"Thanks. Uh, happy Thanksgiving to you, too. I think. Sorry, I thought, you were an animal for a minute there."

He pauses to appreciate the float. It is a totally sweet party.

A few of the buildings, Kang recognized from the very few movies and pictures he'd seen that featured New York City, and the two or three that were actually on Stacy. So this was what an entire city of skyscrapers looked like in person.
Curious, he watched the parade, none of the Sensorium-created people paying him any attention despite the fact that he stood out like a sore thumb.

The crowd cheered and Beastboy bowed and waved with a toothy grin.

The parade moved along and some large floats began passing by with dancers and decoration all about.

Is it that time of year already? Eva's surprised and a little concerned that she didn't realize it. Then again, other things have been on her mind.
She looks around, trying to figure out who in the crowd is the mind behind this.

At the last minute he shifted into a T-rex and roared so hard the steak flew off and the costume underneath it was a Tofu cube. The T-Rex shrank back down and Beastboy glomped the cube to the cheers of the crowd.

"It is the day of thanks-giving once more?" Hi, Beast Boy. Have your friend watching the parade, wondering to herself how a ship-version of such an event would be different.

Starfire was quite for a moment, reliving those memories from home, before asking her question. "I wonder, what would floats of our own creation look like?"
As she thought, a large and fuzzy creature from Tamaran appeared in all its floating balloon glory. "Perhaps we can share our thanks with everyone."
