IIIIIIII love a parade~

Somewhere along the way, Beastboy had lost track of time on board Stacy but he had been shocked to realize what day it would have been back home. After a moment of disappointment a thought struck him and he rushed to the Sensoriums.

The world exploded in noise and sound as New York City appeared in front of him. Confetti and cheers, clowns and music, massive balloons and floats drifting through the buildings as millions of people were recreated by the Sensoriums to re-enact the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Of coarse being Beastboy's memories to fuel this scene the floats, musical number and so on were all from previous years, and some of the balloons and floats had a distinctly Beastboy theme to them.

Like the giant Green Turkey Float holding a sign that suggested trying Tofurkey.

And a Float of Titan's Tower with big headed mascot versions of the Titans waving at the crowd.

Even a massive Captain Carrot Balloon drifted through the air as Beastboy cheered and watched with a twinkle in his eyes. It was so real, the magic of the Sensoriums had brought him somewhere he'd only ever seen on T.V.

And if anyone were to wander in they'd be able to enjoy the show as well.

"Not many, where I'm from," Kang shrugged. "We were a rather new nation. I don't know much about the other nations' holidays."

"Well." Beastboy always felt so smart when he got an excuse to teach people about his world, "On Thanksgiving people usually get together with family and friends to have a great big feast, and then since Christmas is coming up soon after Thanksgiving the day after Thanksgiving stores usually have special sales and shoppers run to the stores to buy stuff."

"It's a bit similar to one of ours, though we make it a city-wide festival," Kang smiled slightly, remembering the last Day of Hope. It hadn't been too long before the Ohm had shown up, and he'd been snatched by the Daligig.

"Do we still celebrate holidays and stuff on board? Parties and stuff?" Beastboy looked thoughtful, "I mean it would be hard without the right stuff but we could make due with what we've got."

Kang paused, thinking, "I think some people do, on occasion. I know we've had a few parties over the six or seven months I've been here. It's hard to remember a holiday when we can never be sure what the date is because of time being... strange."

Beastboy nodded as the parade moved on to giant balloons, "I'm thinking it's best not to think too hard about the time weirdness. It just hurts my brain." He winked.

...huh. Kang stared up at the giant balloons for a moment before turning his attention back to Beastboy. "I try not to. It threw me off completely at first, there not being a sun."

"Oh dude I know right?" He clutched at his head, "There was like this one time where I stayed up late in the media library for a few days? And like for weeks I was falling asleep and waking up at weird times when hardly anyone was around. It was creepy! The halls are all...echoy when no one's awake."
