Rein was feeling a little down and cramped. So what she liked to do other than eat during times of stress was to play music.

Heading to the sensoriums, she pulled up a garage band as she picked up a guitar and strummed it after sizing up. It was a good sound and she strummed it experimentally.

"Mmm, seems good to me," remarked Rein as the other instruments started to pick up a little and she strummed it, summoning a microphone.

And here she started to play, just belting out lyrics. There was little she didn't know about and her musical talent was good enough that she didn't sound terrible playing the song.

"Well you're not really hitting it that hard," mused Rein. "And I'm sure that if you put your mind to it, you wouldn't break it and sound really good!"

"Or maybe a wind instrument, like a horn or a saxophone!"

Vita blinked. Wait a moment. No, she didn't sound angry at Rein, just...suspicious, like someone wondering if someone else is mocking them.

"Don't all these instruments have in common that they're all just very loud? Are you saying I can just do very loud things?"

Well, to be fair, a combat-focussed Wolkenritter didn't really do much research into how music instruments worked, so she wasn't really sure about them. A horn was just something to blow into loudly, right?"

Rein blinked. "Wait..."

She turned over what she had insinuated. "Um, well if it helps you do very loud things very well? I mean, subtle we Wolkenritter aren't and all... usually. Maybe Shamal but she's the doctor who sticks her hand through people's chests and wow I'm babbling aren't I?"

Rein rubbed her head and giggled nervously. "Okay, you can go nuts with the instruments."

"Hey, I never agreed..."

Vita sighed. She didn't really want to disappoint Rein and all, but...how did it come to this?

"So I just imagine them and they come to be, right?"

"Yep!" VICTORY! She had successfully maneuvered Vita into that. Just as planned. Mwahahahahaha!

"The sensoriums work on our imaginations so we can create a lot of things from here. From instruments to opponents and all. For the sake of it, find a instrument you'd enjoy." Suggested Rein.

"Right. Uhm..."

"Yep Yep!" exclaimed Rein. "That looks pretty good!"

Rein was smiling. Oh how innocent. How cute! How utterly deceptively manipulative in the name of fun~!

"Go on, give it a try!"

Looking somewhat unsure, Vita picked up suspiciously Graf Eisen-lookalike drumsticks, and started a tentative drumming. Well, she did manage a rhythm, at least?

"Like that?"

Yep, totally at the mercy of the fiendish, merciless Rein Zwei.

"Yeah getting there," said Rein as she put down the Gibson and picked up another guitar. "Here, try to follow this. It'll help you time in four-beats."

D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D went her guitar in one-two-three-four timing.

"Following, right, I can do that!"

Taking this as some sort of challenge, Vita put in an effort, and managed a, more or less, proper stroke.

"It's not that hard, I guess..."

"Yep! There you go! Try tapping the foot pedal every two beats too, or hitting the cymbals too!" added Rein as she continued to play, keeping the time like a metronome.

Slavedriving taskmaster Rein

Vita struggled a bit with the different things, but it worked out okay enough, well, for something private, though someone listening in probably would have laughed at her musical incompetence inexperience.

"Right, cymbals."

At least it was loud enough!

Rein compensated the bass guitar strumming to match Vita's and with she grinned. "That's the way! Just relax and have fun!"

"Don't tell Hayate about it or I'll get angry, you know." Vita complained, but did relax some.

What a strange situation to be in, all orchestrated by Rein (in two completely different ways).
