If she hadn't been able to heal herself she would have certainly been a goner, as the Tyrant did not let up on her for what seemed like an eternity. He slashed at her with the claws of his other hand, slashing at the exposed parts of her arm and face, and then as quickly as he'd turned on her again he pulled himself off.

The Tyrant backed away again, growling under his breath almost like a purr. This time he seemed determined to get as far away as possible, forcing himself down the street and away from the vampire, eyes clenched shut and body trembling once again.
