Gathering of the Power Rangers [Closed for now]
Having posted his call for the Rangers to report to the Command Center immediately whenever they had time, there was little Billy could do but stand in the circle of consoles and wait. With dim blue lights twinkling along the walls, he could just about see his hand in front of his face.
Maybe he should have asked someone to bring a flashlight.
Shaking that thought off, he started preparing a speech for the others in his head, reminding himself of all the rules and ideals. The threshold of a new beginning. What an exciting and nerve-wracking place to be.
I wish you were here, Billy thought as the light reflected off the empty glass tube. But wishing wouldn't bring anyone back, as the past year had proven. The Rangers were his responsibility now, and he'd have to improvise.
Starting with the first few Rangers. He hoped they would make it through the door safely, and further that they wouldn't trip.
((A guest will be dropping in already, but depending on how the conversation goes others might be asked to come by later. Let's go!))

Despite all the possible safeguards Billy might have thought of, there was one that completely slipped by them all - wall-crawler.
Descending from the ceiling, hanging on a webline, was the older Spider-Man, still clad in the red and gold outfit.
"Seriously, I mean, you guys probably have the cool stuff and what do I have? Stark's hand-me-downs! Not that it's a bad thing, but c'mon!"

Of course, all good feelings faded to panic when their spy dropped in. His morpher was already halfway in morphing position before he recognized Spider-Man, and recognition didn't do much to ease his nerves. The sequence was too far advanced to abort by that point, so a morphed Billy ended up glaring up at the web from under the helmet.
"How did you break in? The Command Center's defense system is configured not to let anyone in unless they're in possession of a Power Morpher or accompanied by someone who is."
Not to mention the probable hacking of his message. What had Billy said about respecting privacy on the omnicoms again? Sigh.

"Aye," he agrees, sounding a touch vexed. "Either that or he followed someone in while it was dark enough that we couldn't see."

"Hey guys, it's ok! Spiderman's from my world, he's fine. And he's good at getting in places most people can't. Calm down."

He maneuvered himself to land on one of the computers, holding himself up easily. "But, yeah, your friend--" he pointed to Jaime. "--got it in one. Would probably explain why my Spider-Sense was going off just before I followed."
Letting out a sigh, he changed gears. "Now, that that's out of the way - what's this about starting a little super hero team here? Not that we don't need one, but still...!"

"I've heard people say numerous times that they wish they could be more useful here," Billy began, turning back around and gripping the edge of a console. "And I've wished to be part of a team again. I fumbled in our first few battles, and I knew the Zords would be more useful with more than one active. I've waited for a long time for my teammates to show up, but they either died or were scrambled very far back on Stacy's release lists---or maybe I was never meant to awaken at all, but the scrambling pushed me forward."
It's a complicated issue, and he's only heard bits and pieces of it from the others. He just hopes it means his friends survived. Anyway, back to the main point:
"When I found this place again, I wandered into the lower levels to see if Zordon had left anything behind that we could use. In one of the lower chambers, I found five partially completed morphers and the blueprints needed to complete them. It took some time to interpret the instructions, as they were written in Eltaran, but they were eventually finished."
Billy glanced at each of them awkwardly. "I thought it would be best to share the power with people I could trust, that I knew he would trust, but the choice was ripped away from us. Dustin became sick a few days ago, and I tried to help him, but my power alone wasn't enough. I tossed the morphers to Kate, Lash, Ron, and Andy in the emergency, and we were lucky enough to succeed and to have found people worthy of carrying the mantle. Jamie was an easy choice for the last slot afterward, and here we are. I'm sure you heard everything else."

Embarrass us? I soooo doubt that. Yeah so he'd managed to sneak into an unprotected base that had no lights. Big woop.
She just stood next to him, arms crossed.

Folding his arms against his chest, he turns to watch Billy discuss the situation, and although his eyebrows go up at Ron's 'badical', he doesn't comment. Instead, he waits to see the new man's reaction to everything that's been said. Inwardly, though, he's a little pleased that he had been right about how the man had gotten in in the first place.

Sorry about the late reply guys.
Dustin replied in a very honest tone.
