Gathering of the Power Rangers [Closed for now]
Having posted his call for the Rangers to report to the Command Center immediately whenever they had time, there was little Billy could do but stand in the circle of consoles and wait. With dim blue lights twinkling along the walls, he could just about see his hand in front of his face.
Maybe he should have asked someone to bring a flashlight.
Shaking that thought off, he started preparing a speech for the others in his head, reminding himself of all the rules and ideals. The threshold of a new beginning. What an exciting and nerve-wracking place to be.
I wish you were here, Billy thought as the light reflected off the empty glass tube. But wishing wouldn't bring anyone back, as the past year had proven. The Rangers were his responsibility now, and he'd have to improvise.
Starting with the first few Rangers. He hoped they would make it through the door safely, and further that they wouldn't trip.
((A guest will be dropping in already, but depending on how the conversation goes others might be asked to come by later. Let's go!))

Re: Starting Explanation
He was already pretty sure that he was going to be keeping the morpher, he needed to be able to do something here on the ship.
Plus how often did people get a chance to become a superhero like they always wanted when they were a kid anyway?
Re: Starting Explanation
She then tilted her head to the side, "But what does this mean now? I mean there's a reason I guess it worked with us right?"

He glanced at the gathered Rangers, sizing them up in his head. This might not be too bad of a start.

"Yes, our mecha are known as Zords. There are six assigned to us---the Red Dragon, the Griffin, the Unicorn, the Firebird, the Lion, and the Tigerzord. They're all waiting in the Hangar if you want to inspect them. Knowledge of how to pilot them comes with the powers, but we can also train manually if we ever need to drive them unmorphed. They can be piloted individually or merged into a bipedal Megazord."
Pause. "You each also have weapons of your own in your morphed forms, and you can train with those as well."

Hopefully with even MORE lasers.

"Is there anything that can go wrong with the morphers once ye have them active?"

Billy sighs. "I ran as much testing for malfunctions as I could and double and triple checked my finished work, but we should also test the morphers once or twice. Just to be reasonably certain."

It's a dark topic, signaled by the sudden tightening in Billy's muscles. "Enemies may try to drive us apart by taking control of our minds. It's happened to a former teammate of mine, and it's happened to me. I will never support killing anyone if that happens---it's too personal of a topic. And we'll always look for any possible alternative first. But I can't kill."

"It's one of our basic rules, Avengers don't kill. We stop the enemy anyway we can, but never that."
She added quietly to him, "Already happened to me with the Yeerk some time ago, good thing they let us get better from it."

He's seen enough senseless death that he is strongly motivated to do his best to prevent it from happening again.

But Lash...Lash had probably killed more people indirectly and directly than everyone else in this room had seen dead. Combined. Sent so many loyal Black Hole soldiers to their inevitable deaths for the glory of Sturm and...that was in the past, right? She couldn't have been picked for this if there wasn't some sort of cosmic joke or maybe something that believed in her more that she currently believed in herself. It felt...nice. Having teammates again felt really nice. This was more intimate than the Rouge Squadron, she had to admit.
Could she have killed Jake or Hawke if push had come to shove? Probably not. Lash bit her lip and remained silent, but she also touched Billy's shoulder. That said enough, right?

With this, his hope for their team swelled.
"Thank you," he answered with a quiet smile. "If he was here, he'd thank you too."
