A bit of help.
She had put out her short request for a helping hand. It was such an odd thing to do ... if anything ever happened to her, her Lotus Squadron was always with her. With Aneasha, Tail and Mail always there, she was always at ease when something like this happened. But before she sent out her message, she had that realization of her lack of support. This didn't hinder her will to take action, however. One thing Dhianeila was was determined to do what she could. Those who helped and followed her only helped them all get to a goal that much faster.
After she had sent the message out, she did what she needed to do to help Alex, even though the result of said action was what anybody responding would walk in a see. A young, blonde woman seemingly resting on her bed. Though her legs hanging off the end insinuated that sleeping wasn't the simple case, here - she was sitting up just moments before her sudden drain of energy, focusing all that she could on her action. Now she simply needed rest. And maybe something to wake up to that wasn't the an empty, lonely room.
[ ooc; omnicomm post here, like it says in the request, it's an "open" log, but just for females please ]

So, when Dhianeila had sent out the request, Miku answered readily. She knocked once on the door for politeness's sake, and then opened it.
"Resting peacefully...?" Miku questioned the unconscious girl. "It's bad to sleep that way, you'll hurt yourself, you know," Miku gently chided and began to shift the other girl around on her bed into a more natural position. She was not particularly strong, and it took a bit of effort, but soon the blonde girl was put to rights and Miku drew a blanket over her.

When she did wake, she looked a bit confused, maybe disoriented. But overall, okay.

Even Miku wasn't someone who woke up exactly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

She managed a small smile and shook her head. "No. I think I'm fine, right now." She felt at ease, too. That feeling she had prior to encountering Alex ... she didn't feel it anymore. She only hoped that everything was okay, now.
"Thank you very much for your help."

When she peeked into the room, Katara saw that Dhianelia was resting, and she smiled before busying herself with the making of tea: she had borrowed Matt's kettle right before coming here. With just the right infusion, it would hopefully invigorate Dhianelia when she was feeling better.

She poured them both tea, and topped it with a small sandwich. "Are you feeling ok?"

She smiled, and slowly sat up. That feeling she felt prior to finding Alex were gone ... she was thankful that whatever happened after she blacked out seemed to work. More importantly, Katara was the one who got attacked in the first place.
"And yourself? You're not hurt, are you?"
no subject
She shook her head. "It hurts a little, but I've had worse scrapes than this. I just couldn't raise a hand against Alex. He's my friend, and he was hurting."
She took a sip of the tea. "Oh, this is nice."
no subject
"Alex is okay, isn't he? I can't ... feel what I felt when he was like that anymore."
no subject
She looked up at her. "How did you stop him?"
no subject
Bringing her knees up slightly, she looked down. "I have never seen anything like what exists in Alex's world," she started.
"So to be honest, I was not sure if I could be of any help at all to him. But ... I suppose one could look at it as a reverse empathy, if they wanted an easy way to describe it. I tried to focus enough to make it strong enough to hopefully drive his shadow away. Or at the very least, weaken it."
no subject
"I'm glad you did," Katara said, "Or it would ave probably gotten worse, and Alex wouldn't have been able to forgive himself later. I just wish it hadn't happened."
But then she looked thoughtful. "What is it YOU can do?"
no subject
"I can feel the thoughts and emotions of others. I can also communicate with others in a various amount of ways ... which helps, because it's difficult to be around many others without either them or myself feeling the effects of my powers."
no subject
She looked at the woman. "But I have to admit it sounds like a power that might cause you stress. How do you cope?"
no subject
"But, I tend to keep myself here. I can still go out and be with others, but not quite in the physical sense."
no subject
Here, Katara looked puzzled. "Not in the physical sense? I don't get it. Do you travel dreams too?"
She knew a few people like that.

She was curious though. "How...do you know how to do this?"

"You're very lucky to have it. Gifts like these are something that should be cherished. I just wish Alex's didn't cause him so much pain."

Upon entering the room, she saw the other girl's unmoving form and rushed to her side. Not sure what she could do to help specifically, she sat down next to her and took her hand. "Can you hear me?"

Depending on if Lacus decided to stick around until she woke or to simply peek in later, she did eventually begin to wake up, looking pretty groggy.
no subject
...And she was quite relieved when she did. "Hello... are you all right?"
no subject
Not sitting up quite yet, she slowly nodded to Lacus. "Yes, I am fine. Thank you very much for your help."
Offering her a small, quick smile, Dhianeila closed her eyes briefly, feeling for Alex. When she no longer felt the dark, violent presence, she opened them again, her smile looking a lot more relieved.

"I'm just ... not sure what happened to cause such a need for help. But I know he was upset, it felt as if he had lost something dear."
