Recovery
Bruises all over, a black eye and pretty tender ribs later, Katara was in the med bay, a little surly that she had to stay here and hadn't had the chance to heal herself. She was more bothered that Alex had to go through all of this though: he was still morose at losing Luna, and when one got down to it, so was she. She missed her friend, but worse off Alex had actually LIKED her in that way. It had hurt her more to see him suffering than any blow he'd given her.
And right now, besides all of this, she REALLY wanted to know that Renne was around. There was a panic in her, thinking that she might never see Renne again. She really, really hoped he was okay.
Billy? I'm in medbay. Can you hear me? Please tell me Rene's okay, or just visit, will you?

Jamie starts gesturing as he talks, using his hands to emphasize his point. He's very enthusiastic about describing his dream, it seems.
"I thought for sure that it had me, and then I woke up and found I was back in the TARDIS. The Zord...well, it's like a robot ye can fight with, and it can combine with the others to make a bigger robot." That's about as good of an explanation as he can give right now, and he hopes Katara will at least get the idea.
He doesn't know yet what will happen with all the other Zords, but he knows which one his is, at least. "I can't say for the others, but mine is a dragon." That does bring him back to his point of a few minutes ago. "The reason I've not said who they are yet, though, is because they've not accepted yet."

That descriptions was a little strange, but familiar, too. "That sounds complicated, but you know, I'll be the first to admit there is a lot I don't know about robots. They seem to be able to do the impossible, but somehow they always seems to have a sense of humanity in them in certain ways."
Here, she was just impressed. "A DRAGON? That's amazing! One of the most amazing creatures ever!" But sh stopped here. "Not accepted? Really? How?"

So, instead, he goes back to Katara's obvious excitement over the Zord, peppering with a series of curious questions. "Ye know about dragons? Do they have them on your world? What are they like?"
no subject
"They do, but just barely. Zuko says firebenders decided to hunt them for sport, so must of them are gone. But dragons are the original firebenders, and from what I hear Aang tell me, they are fierce looking but very wise and knowledgeable about the world. Kind of like Kang, really."

He rubs his chin thoughtfully. "So why give me a dragon then?" There are a lot of things Jamie would use to describe himself. 'Wise' isn't one of them. "Maybe it's something to do with the fire part. Billy did mention that it could shoot that."
no subject
She cleared her throat. "When I look at you I can see if you were any bender you'd be one of fire. The passion is there, the pride of where you come from is there, and you can be just as hotheaded with a topic as I can. I'd say that was a red ranger any day, if what Billy told me abut them is true."

His mouth pulls off to one side, very briefly. He may be a little slow on the uptake occasionally, but he's aware of how he can be sometimes. "Maybe so," he admits. "It sounds like what Billy's mentioned as well."
It's a lot of responsibility, though, being the Red Ranger. Jamie just hopes he doesn't disappoint him.
"I should probably let ye rest, Katara."
no subject
She gave him a smile. "Probably a good idea. Go off, do ranger-y things. Just be careful when you can. Steve's current condition is definitely no joke."
no subject
"I'll come visit ye later, Katara, if they don't let ye out of here soon."
He waves, and heads back out.

She loved Starfire muchly, but her taste pallet was kind of scary.
She grinned. "Thanks, but I don't think I could lay down here for too much longer. I AM a healer, and a whole mess more of people are going to be hurt before this is taken care of."
