The sensoriums had taken up the appearance of a fairly well-stocked kitchen, though the Occupant had mostly finished cooking his meal. The counter was covered in the major ingredients of most tex-mex food, though the meal in question was sitting somewhat apart from the pots and pans. Two soft tortillas, stuffed with meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, and then additionally stuffed with chips and nacho cheese, were resting on two plates as Ron simultaneously rustled up a soda and watched Rufus to make sure the naked mole rat didn't try to eat BOTH of the Nacos.

In Eva's explorations of the ship, she still hasn't come across any decent food. The slop was more than a little underwhelming and while she could use the tray to try and make a sandwich-burrito-quesadilla thing, it wasn't exactly satisfying. So the smell of warm cheese certainly piques her interest.

There's a young man inside who looks fairly harmless, but Eva's a firm believer in appearances being deceiving. Still, she's not going to go into a room armed over some nachos. She misses cooking and eating food that doesn't taste like mud, but not enough to kill over it. Obviously. "Please tell me you know where to find more of that cheese."

"Mind pointing out where those are to an old lady? I'm new on board and plead ignorance on behalf of my generation to talking AI's." The kid seems to know what he's doing with the food. "What, no sopapillas? No aflajores? Come on now."

"Salt and no sweet? I could whip something up for you. I can make authentic South American food." She shudders at the mention of the mess hall. "Unless you're too eager to be alone with your lunch."

Two boys and their rats!

Alex opened the door to the sensoriums, thinking that he might take a walk through Central Park, only to find that there was already a Kitchen set up, with food. Real food. And not shadows, but actual, normal food. He might not get any nutrition from it, but that didn't mean that he didn't love eating good food.

Alice, the black rat that always was with Alex, seemed even more excited, as she haphazardly climbed down Alex's pant leg and showed of her acrobatic skill as she made it up the counter. Once there she looked back at Alex, who was rather mortified that she had just barged in. He rushed after her, stuttering, "S-s-sorry! S-so s-sorry!" And then he noticed the other rodent in the room, "I-is that a n-naked mole r-rat?"

"Y-your rat talks?!" He looks at Alice, as if he expected her to say something, but she merely looked back at him and made a soft squeaking noise.

Just accept it and move on, he reminded himself as he shook his h-head. "I-I'm s-sorry ta b-barge in an' all. A-Alice c-can be a b-bit rude sometimes, a-an', w-well, that s-smells good." He scooped up Alice and shrunk back, "S-sorry, I-I'll g-get g-going..."
