Tenaya's systems were on red alert. Her fever was spiking so much that no amount of coolants could lower the temperature of her mechanical systems. A bit of rest would have been able to get her to at least cool down somewhat, but the contagion wouldn't let her do that. She was restless and aggravated, and she'd already gotten into one fight. Her body was still too hot.
And right now, she was not in any mood to deal with anyone. Pity the poor souls to come across her while the City was in chaos.

This is easier when they spot him, since they usually have more trouble getting to the top of buildings than he does getting down.
dfg;ksljd sorry, I'm late! @o@
Turning down a side street, he started to head back towards the Hub.
((OOC: I totally forgot that Goliath was still stuck in the City when I was suggesting places we could meet. D: Play it by ear? Or it's possible that if Ratch and Goliath meet up, one could get the other out of the City with a medical bill of good health?))

Tenaya didn't look up to see if there were any Gargoyles crossing the rooftops, but she did see a small ambulance driving nearby.
"Perfect," she said. "Target practice."
A blaster formed on her fingers, and she took fire at Ratchet.

Goliath doesn't know that the vehicle itself is alive. His assumption is that moving vehicles (however small) are piloted by living things, which means stopping someone from pointing anything that looks like a gun at one is a good idea. He takes a flying leap off the roof of the building, spreading his wings just enough to guide his fall.
The woman is much smaller than him, so he doesn't aim to slam into her side like he would another gargoyle or a large human male. Instead he reaches for the blaster in (on?) her hand, wrapping it in a grip that easily crushes steel.

"Whoa!" The shot comes out of nowhere, Ratchet's scanners picking up the woman's presence a split second before she fires on him. He pulls hard to the side, the blaster shot grazing his front bumper and before he can re-orientate himself, Goliath is swooping in.
Transforming immediately, Ratchet hurries towards the two, not sure yet if one or both were infected, but prepared to subdue them if they were.

Tenaya screamed in pain and fury as Goliath crushed the blaster, injuring her hand in the process. She just managed to pull herself away, clenching her broken hand into a fist.
Warnings flashed in her vision, but she paid them no heed as she rushed at Goliath, forgetting Ratchet entirely, throwing a punch known to send enhanced humans flying.

He reaches Tenaya just before Goliath does and moves to grab her and pull her out of the way of the charging whatever-it-is, except he doesn't expect the woman to weigh as much as she does. So really, the best he does if he manages to get a hold of her is drag her a few feet instead of completely sweeping her out of the way as planned.
"Hey! Hey! Break it the frag up!"

She began struggling to get out of Ratchet's grip, but he was stronger than she expected. With her rage increasing, she wasn't fighting smart, and she just tried more force instead of trying to find a better way out. If he could pick up heat signatures, Ratchet might notice that Tenaya's temperature was unusally high, for a human or a 'bot.
