The Rejects [R for language]
"What the HELL!!? What the hell are all of us then? Loose trash?"
Rose doesn't appreciate being manhandled by the tentacles EVER, but she appreciates being dismissed from the new and exciting stuff and stuck in this sentient prison thing while everybody else gets to go and DO something even MORE!
They sent the guy with the freaking STICK but not HER?!
She gives the wall a good punch in frustration and anger and a little pinging voice promptly informs her that she's just racked up a violation. So she kicks the wall and racks up a second.
"Yeah well fuck you too, evil spaceship!"

"Supers?" She repeats, her brows furrowing a bit in confusion. "What do you mean by that term?"

He holds up a hand and the blue armor she likely saw him wearing just a few minutes earlier at the meeting spreads up and around it.
"The people that can do cool stuff that's weirdly good at using to beat up bad guys. You saw me in the suit earlier with the blue blue field around us, right?"

Temperance is staring at the dangling man and then over at the other one - with the blue armor... "How is that possible?!"

"It shouldn't be possible. But neither should us be whisked away onto some crazy spaceship."
no subject
"How isn't that possible?"

"On my world, aliens don't exist. No little green men or super heroes. All fictional."
no subject
"See, that's what they want you to think."

She takes a deep breath. "And on my planet there aren't any aliens or... Supers either." She paused, her head tilting a bit to the side.
"Though there's no saying there aren't aliens some where, it's only logical that there's life on some distant planet. But, we haven't found any of those planets in my time."

"Who's this 'they' you're talking about?" He blinks and shoots the Doctor an even stranger look, somewhere between a glare and vaguely amused.
"I'd rather avoid them too, thanks."

Yes, Jo is trying to steer the conversation to something useful.

"Well, I don't know about you, sweet cheeks," he says with a rather inappropriate grin, "but I got a copy of Penthouse and nice bed down in the Vatican callin' my name."
