Didn't we do this already? (Tobias, open)

Tobias sat perched the rafters at Cassie's place, his usual sleeping area now that it had been found. Many of the others stayed in the house, but hawks and enclosed spaces don't mix. At least the barn usually had the door open.

He felt feverish,really warm for some reason He suspected he was getting sick,and it made him wonder what organisms on board could infect a bird, and he found himself recalling his last troubling illness-the Yamphut. He had to go eat, but since he didn't feel particularly good, it would take more effort than usual to find the resolve for it.

For now, he sat and shivered, feeling the beginnings of chills. He'd have to call Cassie when he got the chance, maybe she could help.

At least, given the environment of the ship, he could logically be something other than an Andalite, even to a controller, and he was keeping his beak shut about anything that could endanger anything.

Beastboy's head snapped up and he spotted the hawk right away, "Duuude! Psychic bird!" He cheered and shifted to humming bird form to buzz up to the rafters before turning into a parrot and perching across the way.

Parrot was one of the only forms Beastboy could shift into that could still talk "You're a red tailed hawk!" He observed the obvious, "That's so cool! I didn't think there were any Earth animals on board except like a few wolves."

< I don't think there are that many earth animals...even in hydroponics, they're usually wierd things from other planets. I think I saw a cat somewhere, though.>

"Knowing this place it can probably talk or do magic or something." Beastboy joked before shifting back to his regular form and sitting precariously on the rafter.

"So wait, are you a shapeshifter too or just like...physic bird dude? Oh My name's Beastboy by the way, what's yours?"

"Huh...alright well your business is your business." Though he seeme disappointed. "So is this like, your barn? It's totally sweet dude. Very old school."

Beastboy grinned, "Do ya mind if I stick around? I like making new friends and any animal lover is a friend of mine." He laughed, "That goes without saying I guess." He shifted into a chipmunk to make his point.

However, the chipmunk was a bad choice to morph. Tobias was feeling the aggression, and he couldn't stop himself from going in for the attack. He pulled himself up just at the last moment.

Beastboy shifted back to human form almost falling off the rafter clinging tightly. "Dude...you just tried to eat me!"

As he scrambled and hauled his gangling form back up onto the rafter he panted, "What...illness?"

Beastboy considered that, "There's always the med bay you know? Maybe you should go get yourself checked out. You could get in alot of trouble if you attacked the wrong dude."

< Yeah, maybe. Might try and find my friend, too. She's...well, she has some experience. Can try both, maybe. > Cassie might know, but then again, she wasn't a vet like her dad, and who knew where this thing came from? But Tobias wasn't fond of doctors, either.

"Alright um...maybe I can help. What's her name? What's she look like?" Beastboy offered hopefully.

"OH!" Beastboy's eyes flashed with recognition, "I know Cassie! I met her on like, the day she arrived! That's so cool! Small world right?" He babbled before changing into a monkey and swinging through the rafters, shifting back when he reached the loft entrance to the barn.

"I'll go look for her, we'll be back before you know it!" He promised.

< Thanks > came the reply. Tobias had a two-way feeling of ick: The nausea and chills and fever made him want to go to sleep. But the aggression inside him made him want to attack something. He hated all of it.
