The sudden appearance of Tim right there next to him causes Dean to jump, and while he doesn't let go of his iron grip, his expression narrows. He knows that it'd been a Yeerk that had said those things, but it was hard to forget.
"Enjoy the ride. Yeah, right," Dean grits out, trying to hold himself as still as possible. And then Tim apologizes.
Dean stares for a minute, and then looks away. Tim's probably going to have to work at it if he wants Dean to trust him, (assuming he wants to associate with Dean at all), but the apology does help.
