Clearing the Mind [Open]

Matt had indeed taken note of the directed post and the growing argument that was quickly becoming in a sided manner. He himself had been debating things about this, and had done everything from creating an astral drop to talk to, as well as pacing. In the end, he had taken a DVD from one of Kandor's stocks and slid it into the machine.

Leaning back in his chair, Matt's hands were folded in front of him as he watched an episode of Sliders, specifically My Brother's Keeper, an episode dealing with clones using as spare parts.

"What do you think?" inquired Matt softly as the episode ended.

His counterpart sat across from him, drinking tea with a monocle. "If you ask me old chap, I think we need to sit down with everyone and talk with them."

"Quite right," muttered Matt as he took up his own tea cup, took a sip and shared a moment with his astral drop.

Superman was, for a better word for it, a little on the exhausted side. Dealing with Nanoha had been a little more draining than he had expected, especially with how passionate she was in trying to save the clone.

He hated this greatly and it showed. He figured the best thing he could do is at least contact one of the other members and see what they thought.

As he knocked on the door of the bus nearby, he let himself shudder slightly. There was probably a reason why he hated this, amongst the reasoning that it was the life of a person.

"I hate magic..." he uttered.

"Thank you." Kal said, nodding at Matt as he came in. Taking a seat as he entered, he let out a sigh.

"When I threw my hat in for this, I didn't realize we'd go that far..."

Kal nodded at the Astral Drop. It seemed that even Matt understood what was going on.

"She does. And I can understand her position - her family is pretty much this."

"Exactly. And unfortunately, Miss Takamachi can't see it like that." Kal said, taking a sip himself. "She sees it as another person to save, no matter what. I don't blame her for wanting to, but..."

He let his mind wander a bit. There had been other people who wanted to join in. How would Dick have handled this? Or Euphimia? Or even that little girl, Sasami? He shook his head, dropping the subject. No time for shoulda, woulda, coulda.

"...I just wish I knew how to get it through to her. I know I've been blamed for being too idealistic, but..."

"Exactly. Someone's feelings is going to get hurt in the end. We just have to make sure it doesn't lead to anything else." Kal said.

He let out a chuckle as he stared at his drink. "...something like this should be easier for Bruce to figure out, not me."
