Paco was a man on a mission. It was a very serious mission of the utmost importance.

Depending on the definitions of "serious", "utmost", and "importance" at least.

There were people on this ship that needed to either be recruited onto Team Have Some Freaking Fun, and there were people who needed to be marked down to be shanghai'd into having fun the next time the Team had a plan. There were also people who he needed to talk to talk to on general principle because they were his friends and what else were friends for?

In other words, Paco was bored and in the mood to socialize.

She scooted closer to him after he did so, "Sure, we've both been grabbed a number of times before. Still don't get how our soul's supposed to be dropping out without it. Sounds like they just needed to make up something to excuse the kidnapping."

"I dunno, it makes about as much sense as anything else on this ship," Paco said with a philosophical shrug. "I will give you that GLaDOS is a weird choice for 'putting your soul back in', unless her being a total lying psycho is part of it."

"Didn't Stacy back her up on that though?" Paco asked. "I'm pretty sure that I heard that Stacy backed her up on that. No one would believe GLaDOS because GLaDOS is where 'the cake is a lie' freaking comes from."
