Tell me what's wrong [Closed]

Nura steps into the Med Bay with more than just a bit of reluctance. She has her arms folded against her chest, a demeanor to her that clearly says "I DO NOT WANT TO BE HERE!", and oh how she would break for the exit, she really would...only there's something -- or should it be said as someone -- in the way of her leaving.

She sighs, shifting her feet in an anvious manner, and turning towards the person behind her. "You didn't really need chaperone me for this visit."

At the 'sweetheart' name, the corners of Nura's lips quirk. Wanda may not approve, but Nura does -- even if she never intends to make something of it. She thinks for a moment, tapping her chin with her forefinger. "I haven't really made any changes to my diet -- the slop from the cafeteria each meal, although I sometimes skip lunch or breakfast, or both, when I am planning to do other things in place of them. I don't really have a job aboard the ship, but I think I have an interview for one next week. And I train and exercise almost every day."

Nothing out of the ordinary, really.

"Oh, and taking care of my kids."

"Your kids? A little young for that aren't you." Hawkeye frowned as he asked the question. If she had children it meant she was most likely married, and married meant a possibly jealous, possibly very angry husband. Not that it had ever deterred him before, but the children did add something to the mix that Hawkeye was not willing to deal with. One, he wasn't fond of children, and two, he would never forgive himself for breaking up a family. He might be a scoundrel, but even he on occasion had some scruples, and this was one of those occasions.

Why did the pretty ones always have to be mothers?

[ooc: Okay what is the posting order we want to settle on?]

Wanda smiled at that. "She is rather mature for her age. Young or not, she does a wonderful job." She was just going to keep him in the dark. Nura could clarify if she wanted to.

[OOC: I'm fine with periodic Wanda tags since it's Nura going in to be checked up on. She won't be tagging in till later tonight or tomorrow.]

Nura sees the meaning of Wanda's smile and resists the urge to roll her eyes. "Ben and Maydril are my surrogate children, Doctor. I love them as if they are mine biologically, however."

[ooc: I like the idea. I also have a wedding to attend today, so I won't be back until later tonight, or at least tomorrow morning.]

"That makes more sense, and please call me Hawkeye. So have your children been alright? Nothing unusual?" Besides the obvious stress, and panic of course. For all Hawkeye knew her migraine could be cause by something as simple as that.

[ooc: That's fine with me. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't stepping on any toes.]

"Ben's the ball of excitement, and likes to be a little bombastic, but he's not usually in trouble." However, when he is, that's when Nura does the most of her worrying. "May's pretty calm most of the time." She reaches up and pulls her hair over one shoulder. "I'm still getting to know her."

With progression of symptoms she described Hawkeye would have expected at least one thing out of the ordinary. Tapping his Omnicomm he ordered up a prescription for Nura to help with the pain, and made a note to himself to learn what piece of equipment did brain scans. Frowning for a second he added another note, learn how to read said scans. "Alright sweetheart here is what I want you do to. First I'm going to give you a prescription and hopefully that will ease some of the pain. Now the next part is easy because we don't have any of these things on board, but I want you to avoid chocolate, tobacco, and I can't believe I'm saying this, alcohol. Also take it easy, try to relax a little. Have someone watch the kids, and go for a swim, or whatever you enjoy doing for good times."

"I'd personally recommend a romantic evening involving food that isn't that slop from the mess hall. Perhaps even with a handsome doctor." Okay, so the kids weren't exactly a plus, but what could it hurt?

Wanda cleared her throat before she stepped next to Nura and putting a hand on her shoulder. "I can make sure your children don't get into any trouble while you take your break."

Nura gives the Scarlet Witch a soft smile. "Thank you, Wanda."

She turns to the doctor, folding her hands in her lap accordingly. "I guess I could manage that. How long would I have to take the medication for?"

Her lips quirk. "Make it a formal dinner between a doctor and his patient, and you have yourself a deal."

Give it a couple of weeks and dinner first, then we'll see how you're doing after. If you're feeling better we can see about getting you off of it." Hopefully if she followed his other instructions that would be possible, but he still had his doubts. Not because of her, but simply because of his inability to pinpoint a cause for her symptoms.

However, the prospect of dinner even a formal one brightened his mood. Now he only had to find someone who could make him a tux on short notice.

She nods, white hair swishing against her back. "All right. Sounds perfectly reasonable." She knows that they still need to pinpoint the true cause of her continuous migraines, but the doctor must know best...despite the fact that he's been flirting with her for a part of the appointment. Not that she really minds, per say...

Maybe this place wasn't going to be so bad after all. Now all he had to do was find some way of getting food that wasn't slop. There had to be someone that could cook around here, he just needed to find them and sufficiently bribe them to get them to prepare a nice meal. Nothing he couldn't handle. "I'm glad we agree on that. How can I get in touch with you once I have our reservations set?"

"The comm ring system works fine," she says.

"I promise I won't keep you waiting." Hopefully nobody else needed any medical attention today because he planned to sign out the moment Nura left the Medbay. If it was serious he could always have that stupid hologram thing call him.
