Leon found a relatively quiet spot in the city to meet the Major. He was in the area dubbed "Religion Row," standing outside of some kind of a mausoleum. Given the type of building, not many people wandered by, which suited him just fine. Given what he and the Major were about to discuss, it was important to not have anyone overhear. Especially Stacy.

This was business, after all.
"Here," she offered him the file-folder without preamble. It wasn't paper, exactly, but it was physical media, and thus not something any amount of cyborg wizardry on Stacy's part could have stolen, without physically taking a copy. Aoi would have been proud. Inside were schematics, hand-drawn, but impossibly accurate, pinpointing the location of GLaDOS' physical location, or rather the location of its main processors.

He wasn't going to bother asking how she got this information, he already knew. But he did need to know one thing, "How good is this intel?" Not that he thought she ws easily fooled, but considering her source...

"This entire section of the ship is sealed off." Which would make getting in there a huge problem.

"Not to mention that even if we do find a way in, if what we know holds true, we'll have to assume that anyone who goes in will lose all communications with the rest of the crew, not to mention we'll forget about them." So whoever gets sent will be completely on their own.
This was one step short of being a suicide mission.

"You noticed?" Well, she has a right to be incredulous. He;s all-natural, after all, "It is a pretty clumsy hack. Have you disseminated that intel to anyone yet?"

"Most of the crew doesn't notice it, and it wouldn't surprise me if Stacy had something to do with that. I haven't drawn attention to it, though. It's hard to prove that we've all forgotten someone." At least not without looking insane.

"We need a distraction, and someone to come at it from the database side, in addition to the attacking force."

"But you still need a way in." Leon mulled that over. That section, every vent cut off, every bulkhead was sealed, it likely had its own supply of recycled air. It was effectively a quarantine. But crew members had returned from there before.
"...or the way out."
