On the meatship and all I got was slimed again

Peter still hated the plantsuit. It was creepy and pulsing and just very ewww-auuuugh. There had to be other clothing options. So it was he found his jumpsuit at least. He could live with that. He was still a Ghostbuster. Even if the only ghost he ran into was that poor half ghost kid. And apparently there's demon and some beast kid who wouldn't look out of place in the Weekly World News. (Which Ray and Egon swear sometimes had accurate articles. Yeah right.) So far the cafeteria slop made him cringe, Media library wasn't his thing. For one thing, not enough porn by far. (He didn't know Dean was bogarting some of the titles still) And research tended to bore him. Sure he's a scientist but he liked being the fun scientist who got the girls. Some very nice ones on the ship. Hopefully some were available.

He debated on the Sensoriums. Heard it was like the holodeck, but his steps ended up taking him toward the hangar. There was a large colorful van, a pink bus, a lot of ships, a nice looking 67 Impala.... And then around one of the X-Wings.

Damn it's the Ecto. And it was the Ecto-1 even.

"Oh Ray, I wish you were here to see this." He had to admit it was kind of nice seeing the vehicle here, even if he still saw it as a bucket of bolts.

Peter gestured to the converted vehicle that rather resembled a souped up hearse more than an old ambulance, "Oh just one of our toys for getting around."

"Well we don't need an airplane, kitten. Just wheels. And hey, you can't insult the Ecto, only I can!"

"....What is it with ghost hunters and jumpsuits?" Danny said, looking at Venkman from the cockpit of his X-Wing.

"Well we had it first so I hope they're paying us royalties for the idea."

"My dad's been wearing his for what I'm pretty sure is his entire life, so you probably have to pay him royalties." Danny rebutted.

"Depends, family business huh? When did it start and where? Because I know we're the only game in town in the Five Boroughs."

"I'm not sure when it became an actual business, but my parents have been interested in fighting ghosts since before college, and that was in the early 80's."

"We started in the early 80s too. Hmm... maybe split 50-50 then?"

"I don't even think it really matters." Danny shrugged "If we get our worlds restored, I was making a ton off of merchandise royalties after I saved the entire planet from an asteroid. Of course, most've that was going into a college fund and a bunch of charities, but I had a good bit left over afterwards."

Peter nodded at that, "Not bad, not bad. City's finally acknowledging us, or was after we saved their butts twice."
