In which the former queen gets new clothes [closed]

Arika had followed Rein's advice to the connection lifts, opening her comm now and then to check the message once more, before putting it away so that she could keep an eye on where exactly she is going. The former Queen does not want to lose herself on in the massive ship's many paths.

Finding the connection lifts, she briefly looks about, waiting for Rein.

Rein flitted quickly towards the lifts and flew up to meet Arika with a little wave and salute. "Hi there!" she chirped. "I'm here Arika-sama!"

Arika turns her head Rein's way and nods her head. "So I see. Your name is Rein, correct?"

"Yep! Reinforce Zwei, but just call me Rein!" chirped Rein as she flitted up to Arika's face. "My goodness you're pretty Arika-sama! Please, this way."

There is a small tinge of pink upon the former Queen's cheeks at the compliment. "Thank you," she says, then starts to follow the girl. After meeting the Prince in the pod rooms, she feels not so surprised at the young woman's size.

Soon they arrived at the simple shop and Rein pulled the door open. "Please, here you go. Have a seat, and I'll bring out something to eat first. Tea? Cookies?"

Arika nods her head and enters and takes a seat that is available. Out of courtesy, and good manners, she removes her belt with her sheathed sword, and sets it down on the seat adjacent from her.

"I would be pleased to have tea, Rein. Thank you."

Rein nodded as she flitted into the back room and brought out a fresh pot of tea and two cups as she came back as a full grown girl. "There you go. One lump or two?"

"Ah," she is somewhat surprised at Rein's size-change, but it only shows itself on her face as her eyes slightly widening. "One is good enough, thank you kindly."

Rein nodded as she dropped in a cube and mixed up the hot liquid before serving it up to her. "Okay, before we begin is there any style preferences you prefer for your outfit?"

And she picked up a pad and pencil.

Arika accepts her cup and takes a sip from it. It's incredibly warm and settles her better. "Preferably, something in which I can still move about in with ease." She points to her sheathed sword and belt on the adjacent chair. "I am a spell caster, as well as a user of a sword."

"Hmmm, then I'm going to say light, nothing too baggy then," said Rein, sketching out a dress. "Form fitting, but not too tight. Reinforced at the shoulders and waist... I could probably weave an enchantment into it to make it more durable than the material used for it."

"That sounds exactly like what I am looking for in clothing." She takes another sip of tea.

"At this point I'd almost say I should construct a barrier jacket for you as well," said Rein. "A rudimentary device for protective covering. Hmm..."

She continued to sketch out a design for a every day outfit, the design simple in nature (http://www.safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=227487) before she started to work on a outfit design for a barrier jacket. "How's this?"

Arika leans forward to take a look, and the corners of her mouth moderately quirk, pleased. "Yes. That looks proper and fitting." It is a different style from the dresses that she wore back home, but change is good.

She'd never cared for fashion as either Princess, or Queen, except only when it concerned importance of looking her best for politicians. But after she'd left with Nagi, her crown gone, she took to more common clothes without complaint. So the simplicity of the dress Rein has designed, pleases her very much.

"I can make it of a lighter color to match your complexion too," said Rein. "And the pants should be of a fairly good breathable material too."

"As for a possible protective gear, I could most likely figure out some kind of combat uniform and a rudimentary device to set it up with." added Rein. "Though the design would be completely up to you as well."

"That would certainly work well," the former Queen comments. She raises her cup of tea and takes a sip. "For combat, I will either be using magic, or my sword, but commonly, it shall be magic. I am quite used to moving about within constricted clothing, although I do not prefer it."

"Combat effectiveness is actually maximized when you're in comfy clothing," remarked Rein as she sketched out a few more designs. "For now we'll focus on your casual clothing and then I can also look into building you a rudimentary barrier jacket."

Arika nods her head. "Thank you, Rein."

"No problem. Alright, can you please stand up?" and she pulled the tape measure from her neck. "And raise your arms please."

Arika does both, standing up with her arms raised high, looking forward without turning her head.

Taking her measurements across her shoulders, arms, legs, hips, bust and waist as she moved her measuring tape across Arika's form quickly, committing all of the numbers to memory. "That should do," said Rein as she said, "I'll bring out some cloth for you."

Wrapping her tape across her neck, she went over to pick up a few rolls of cloth to bring out.

Arika lowers her arms to her sides and walks over to where Rein is. She apparaises the top fabrics with interest. "These are quite nice fabrics, Rein," she says.

"Thank you. They're designed for comfort. Also, I'll have to make some underwear for you too, I'd imagine it wouldn't be comfortable. Shoes too. Would you prefer heels, boots, flats or anything else?" asked Rein.

Arika blushes a tinge when she realizes that she had not considered undergarments in her clothing request. "Yes," she says, the coloring in her cheeks returning to normal.

"I am most used to heels, though they are small," she adds.

"So nearly flats, I see," said Rein as she finished taking her measurements. "How's this?" And she presented some soft silk-like cloth. "I can make panties and a bra for you. Probably though I need to take your bust size a little more closely..."

Rein bowed. "Pardon my reach."

Glomp. Squish Squish.

"Hmm," said Rein, fondling Arika's chest experimentally and checking the heft. "I see now. Alright, you'll need an underwire support. You've got quite a chest, comparable to Fate-san's. The panties however..."

And she reached down and checked Arika's hips. "Mmm... elastic or side-string? You could get away with both."
