Armored Adventures [Closed]
As promised, Samus would show Tony the Sensoriums and perhaps a few other areas of the ship along the way if he asked. Silently, she navigated with ease through the maze plant hallways and different levels without even a glance back at the man she was escorting or a further question why he was interested in her armor. Maybe she was just confident a demonstration of its abilites would stop him from trying anything less... admirable in his quest to find out. Not that she didn't trust him, she was just paranoid about that.
Or maybe she just wasn't very talkative.
Or maybe she just wasn't very talkative.

"So. I've got a question for you, and it's not about your suit. I had one of my own, and I'm wondering if there's any way I can actually get it back." This was a very important question. Iron Man can't be Iron Man without his armor.

"What's it look like?"
no subject
"It's red and gold, made of a gold-titanium alloy. There should be a round hole in the chest plate." That pretty much covered all the most recognizable features of it, he thought.
no subject
-But that didn't look like it would be a problem. She found what she thought might be a match, opened the file, and turned the omnicomm to Stark. He would find a diagram of his suit and an incomplete list of its specs. There was too much in the armory to make completely detailed reports, plus it was hard to find out what something could do if Stacy wouldn't release it, which was often the case with personal belongings as unique as powered armor.
"That it?" She asked.

She still needed to physically go down there to have it moved. She could do it right now, or wait until her new companion has gone on his way. Depending on how eager he is to get to his suit, he might end up going with her.

She gave a curt nod and said, "Fine. Follow me."
She switched directions down a narrower, less-traveled hallway. There seemed to be a lot more twists and turns as they delved into the deeper parts of the ship.
"What's your name?" That was totally not so she could look up his dossier on her visor, nope. It would only give her basic info, anyway. Most was restricted to the Captain, but this would help a little.
no subject
"Tony Stark." He raised his eyebrow at her. "Do I get to know yours now?"

Finally, she led them to an elevator. They had walked a good while away from the Obs Deck. The entire area gave off the impression that it wasn't exactly frequently visited. Or ever visited.
The doors slid open. Samus stepped forward, expeting Tony to follow.

...Unless it mentioned his alcoholism. Then she would know to keep him far, far way from anything vaguely alcoholic.
He followed her in, looking around as he did. It really didn't seem like anyone ever came down here, which didn't make much sense to him if this was where the weapons were kept.

She typed something into the panel of the elevator. It lurched and then started downward quite smoothly. And it was one long, silent ride.
no subject
"So, why does it look like no one comes down here? I'd think the armory would be visited fairly often." He shot her a curious glance.

"We won't actually be able to go into the main armory," what Samus meant by that was a little vague.

In front of them was a glassed in terrace that allowed viewing of the main armory. Immense was an understatement. Huge, endless racks that held a seemingly infinite amount of armor, weapons, ammunition, and spare parts stretched in every direction from the floor too far below to the ceiling too far above between walls too far away to be seen. This was one of the places that reminded Samus just how large Stacy was.
Samus stepped out of the elevator and walked over to the only thing they actually had contact with, a computer terminal in front of the large window.
no subject
But the sheer size of the main armory managed to. He walked closer to the glass, and stared out at everything.
no subject
"That's it, correct?"

In a flash of gold light, Samus' armor seemed to literally disappear around her, leaving well, a still tall but not quite as tall as in suit woman. She stepped back from the terminal. A green light poked out from the ceiling and scanned her body while she spoke a simple "Samus Aran."
The panel switched to SAMUS ARAN: AUTHORIZED USER, but the words TONY STARK: AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED quickly joined them. Samus stepped back from her position and motioned for Tony to take her place. Samus credited to the fact that sometimes very unique pieces of equipment were locked to certain individuals, and then even she wasn't authorized to fully release it.

Staring up at the light, he moved into place, clearly speaking his name. It made perfect sense that Stacy wouldn't release his armor without his permission since, well, it was his.
no subject
Low and behold, there was his armor.

"I know just how you feel," if that felt like a long wait for his armor, he should try going without it for a couple months.
no subject
Satisfied that everything was in working order, he turned to her. "Still
willing to show me what that cannon of yours does?"
no subject
"Sure." To the sensoriums they will go!
no subject
It seemed like the ship would have Tony in awe for awhile. Upon entering the Sensoriums, he stared around curiously. He hadn't been expecting a completely empty room, but of course he knew it wasn't going to be empty for long. It was obviously something like a holodeck, and he was almost more curious about how it worked than he was about Samus' suit.
no subject
"How about a target range?" Samus suggested, and it was so. Fancy that!

Except that Samus thought that was a little boring, so she made one little modification using Stacy's ability to pick up on thoughts in here. Moving targets are so much more interesting!
The movement really didn't impair Samus' ability to quickly shoot energy blasts into the center of each one.

A fresh set of targets popped up, and Samus increased the speed of the targets a little bit. She switched up the beam she was dealing as well. Some sent plasma burns through the center while other shots froze them. The biggest blasts were probably from the missiles that splintered the targets into nothing.
But targets were still only targets. A few simulated enemies might get her demonstration really going.

And then she stopped. That was enough of a demonstration, she decided. At least until she saw what the other armor could do.
no subject
When she stopped, he did a quick experiment, the end result being something similar to Vanko's drones appearing. Moving quickly, he dispatched them all with quick repulsor bursts. It was tempting to use some of the other various weapons concealed in the suit, but it didn't seem all that wise to waste ammunition when he had absolutely no idea if he'd be able to replace it.
