The Results

Once again, change was upon the crew.

The crew had voted. After checking, double checking, and even triple checking the votes to make sure all the numbers were correct, it was finally time to release the results.

Once again using the Obs Deck as a venue, one of the large, holographic screens Stacy usually uses when announcing missions to post the results. It read:

Congratulations to the winners!

Now that it was finally over, it was time for both celebrations and disappointment alike. To the victors go the spoils, and to everyone else...well, they would just have to hope that things would improve as they had been promised.

Only time will tell.

She lost...

Sasami had went to the Obs Deck upon hearing that the tallies were in. She hoped and prayed that she'd get in, that she'd get a spot.

Seeing the list appear, her big, hopeful smile and her bright eyes quickly turned to a horrified gawk.

She quickly turned away and hung her head as she walked out. She wasn't in the mood for celebrations.

Wanda hadn't expected to see her name on the list, especially after reading all the way down to the bottom and then there she was. She gasped.

"I won?" Then she smiled. "I can't believe I won!"

Vader was going to be insufferable for the next few weeks, at the very least.

Both his children were great leaders. He began telling to this to anyone and everyone who couldn't run from him fast enough.

Luke was a little surprised to see his name there--he'd put himself up for council member, mostly, but hadn't done much to get the word out. But there he was, and Leia was there with him too, the diplomatic half of their twin set, and he recognized some of the other names on the list as well.

Hopefully, all this would be able to help them get more organized and more effective in the way they continued this war against the Ohm.
