trans_9 | Heroes Come Back [Open]

It was not uncommon for different people to be torn away from the others thanks to the wonder that is GLaDOS. Happens all the time and it's very infuriating. However, when a good chunk disappears, especially two important people? Yeah, there's a problem.

In one of the hallways, part of a wall opened up, the sounds of screaming echoed out as six figures spilled out. Two of them, Superman and the hedgehog known as Shadow, were carrying two others in their arms - Irma and Lowe with Superman and Sasami and Vivio with Shadow. Coming to a stop, the two men set the others down... and raced back to the wall.

"You're not getting away with this!" Shadow shouted as they raced to the wall, only to stop as the wall sealed up. "RRRGH! Dammit!"

"Blast..." Superman grunted, pounding the wall. There were others in there - there had to be. Others they could have pulled out. Turning around, he looked at the other four. "Is everyone alright?"

"Fine... though, now I see why everyone HATES that thing!" Irma said, rubbing her neck as she stood up straight.

"Everyone must be worried about us..." Vivio said, looking around.

"I'm sure they are, but don't worry - once they know we're alright, it'll be fine!" Lowe said.

"...hope we didn't miss the elections!" Sasami said. "Don't want to find out we missed it because of that... thing!"

"Don't worry, I doubt we have." Superman said. With that, he turned to his omnicomm and began putting out a message. At least they'll know they're okay now.

When the message came in, Negi had been off like a shot be damned his ~~hiding~~aches and pains from training for a while. Flying off towards the source of the message, he pulled up on his staff. "Everyone, you're okay!" he exclaimed in relief. He hadn't even realized they were gone and it worried him the most.

Sasami was the first to turn hearing Negi's voice. A big smile formed on her face as she ran over to the boy. "Negi-kun!" She couldn't help but wrap her arms around her friend and hug him. "Oh, I'm so glad you're here...!"

There was probably a few "awww"s coming from the other girls as she did that.

Negi hugged back, squeezing her tight before pulling away just a little. "Welcome home," he said simply and fondly. It was the best thing that he could say to her.

Looking at everyone else, he added, "Everyone, Superman, Shadow, Irma, Vivio, Lowe, thank you for looking after her. And I'm glad to see everyone is back home safe."

"Hmph. It would be a whole lot better if we could tear that AI one piece at a time!" Shadow growled. He looked up at the ceiling and shouted. "Damn you, Stacy! How can you let this thing keep working like this!?"

"Sounds like someone needs a time out...!" Irma quipped.

At that moment, a tiny flying tackle zoomed out of nowhere as Rein hit with the force of tissue paper. "Vivio-chaaaannnnn!" sobbed Rein. "I missed you!"

Negi tried not to snigger, he really did. But Rein was way too adorable for her own good.

Vivio blinked in surprise as Rein ran into her, then laughed. "Rein-chan! I missed you, too...!" As she went to return the affection, she blinked. "Wait... does Nanoha-mama and Fate-mama know I was gone?"

"Um, I dunno, maybe if they got the message," said Rein. "We didn't know that anyone was gone until the message came out. Sorry."

She hugged the girl a little more.

"That's sweet," said Matt who had arrived behind them and he grinned at Irma. "Hey you."

"Well, hey yourself." Irma said, turning back to look at Matt. It still felt weird seeing this Matt, even after all this time. Crossing her arms over her chest, she smirked slightly. "Starting to get a bit crowded here. If we knew all this would happen, we could have moved the reunion elsewhere!"

Matt chuckled at that. "Why don't we move the reunion to the bus. I've got it parked out near this hallway."

Likewise, the familiar tingle was there when he saw Irma. Still the same magic no less. "Everyone's invited. And it'll give others a place to sit down. I'm sure you're all wanting that."

"Hmph. Yeah, right. I got better things to do." Shadow said, turning around and racing off.

"I don't know about him, but I still have some work to do - that stupid AI interrupted me while I was still working on the conversions." Lowe said. "Don't mean any disrespect, but it's better that I get everything ready before there's another attack."

"I'll probably drop in later." Superman said, nodding slightly. "I need to find out if I missed anything while I was gone." With that, he extended a hand towards Matt, intending on shaking his hand. "As well, good luck on the elections..." he turned back to look at Sasami, still clinging onto Negi. "...both of you."

"Count on it. The doors open whenever you want to drop by," said Matt, shaking Superman's hand. He nodded to Lowe. "No problem. Swing by later when you have a break." He didn't comment on Shadow but there was a knowing smile that the hedgehog wanted time to himself.

"Vivio, you should tell your moms that you'll be at the bus if you're coming of course. OI, Negi, stop hugging and sweep her into your arms already and bring Sasami too." laughed Matt. "Let's go Irma. Hay Lin's probably there worried sick now that you've been released by the crazy AI."

Ron poked his head into the hall.

"...uh, hey. Did you guys just get away from GlaDOS? Cuz I just finished baking a cake if you want any?"
