Machine Testing [OPEN]
The battle of Zokez II was proof that the Mobile Suits and the X-Wings were a bit out of their leagues. Overwhelmed by the Ohm's superior numbers, plenty of them got thrashed in their fights. It was time to fix that.
Since the end of the fight and the regrouping, Lowe's been busy in the Sensoriums working on a major project: the fusing of technologies. Realizing that he couldn't afford to work on the actual suits. Lowe went into the Sensoriums and began his work, modifying and remodifying the Astray Red Frame to the X-Wing's engines and power source.
At the moment, though, Lowe was taking his latest attempt to work the two technologies together. At a small hangar, there were at least four scrapped machines that were once the Astray Red Frame. If anyone walked in and saw him, they'd see the Red Frame with the back of an X-Wing attached to the back of the suit.
"YEEEE-HAW!" Lowe cried out. "Man, the speed on this thing is incredible!"
[It is, and so far, we've barely had any energy drained and what we do is quickly replaced.] 8 piped up from his spot in the cockpit. [I think we did it this time!]
"I think we did so, too, man!" Lowe said. "If there was only some way I could REALLY test this!"

"Oh, hey. Got a watcher!" Lowe said. Turning the Red Frame around, it stopped some distance nearby so that the machine didn't have to crouch down to look at Char. "Yo! 'Sup? Sorry, forgot to lock the door. Got too excited!"

"So I see you've been working on adding those fancy fusion thrusters to a mobile suit. Think you could manage something like that on something a little less familiar?"

He sighed and rubbed his hair a bit. "It wouldn't be so bad if one side weren't so.... genocidal. Actually, both of them got that way. It was pretty rough..."

"Anti-fission devices, though? Those would have been a lot more convenient than having to shoot down nuclear missiles by hand," he adds. "Such is life."

Re: 2/2
"It shouldn't be too much longer. Right now, you can say this is a prototype. I was able to kitbash the two together so that the X-Wing's engine acted as an external power source. It proves it works at the moment."
He looked back at his machine. "All I need to do now is to see if I can replace the engines themselves with the X-Wing's. If it fully works, we should be able to begin work on the conversion when everyone's ready."

Char pauses and considers for a moment. "Say, how familiar are you with remote weapons? Free-floating remote-controlled laser cannons and the like?"
