"I may not be captain anymore, but I like to know people, and wherever I get shoved with this election, I'm gonna keep making it my business to keep knowing people," said Cybil, leaning back against one of the desks. She'd caught Leon in the Precinct and now it was time for the rundown.

"And you also make it your business to know people, Kennedy. So spill--who are our Persons of Interest as of late? Any interesting new faces?"

"Yes, Ma'am," Leon stated, giving her a small salute. Was that an actual hint of humor from him? Apparently things had changed.

"That's a really long list, though." He didn't have to remind her that she'd been gone for quite awhile.

"If you want." Leon did make it his business to keep tabs on the crew. It was part of the job as Chief of Security. He looked at his omnicomm, and started to scroll through the names.

"Let's see... there's Kang. He's big, green, and scaly, but ever call him a lizard. He's a Draconian, and he reacts to being called a lizard the same way most humans would react to being called an ape. Good guy, though, strong medieval era fighting skills. He usually hangs out by the Drunken Dragon, which is several blocks over, where he conducts basic combat training for the crew on a regular basis.

"Then there's... The Major. Cyborg, special forces, top notch hacker. She has a ton of attitude, but has more than enough skill to back it up. Very little respect for authority, but tends to do the right thing in a pinch." And, despite knowing more, Leon will leave it there.

He flipped through a few more names, then stopped on another one, bringing up an image for Cybil to look. "And this is one you'll want to keep an eye on. Brother Cargn. He claims to be the one person on the ship who is here of his own free will. He apparently worked with the Daligig crew and has experience against the Ohm. That said, don't count on him for answers, he's more indirect than even the best politicians."

"...Then that's the man I need to talk to. Maybe other people haven't been asking the right questions." She added, "Or asking them forcefully enough."

"If you can pin him down long enough, go for it. We've all be too busy fighting for our lives, or recovering from fighting for our lives to press the issue. And with GLaDOS having picked apart the leadership, there's a list of about a thousand things that never got done." And you can bet that Leon is already chipping away at it.

"You sure you don't want your old job back?" Because you can have it.

"You see the way people are trying to jockey for position to get this job?" He shook his head. Poor bastards.
