The battle against the Ohm raged on, and the casualties on the ground were mounting. Injured crew members got emergency treatment in the field, which largely amounted to patching them up so they wouldn't die sometime within the next fifteen minutes. After that, they were quickly picked up by shuttle and brought back to the ship, where they were sent to a medbay that was getting progressively more crowded.
The situation was growing increasingly dire, to the point that Stacy activated one of the AI's to help out.

Either way, the skritch earns a sniffing nuzzle. Then? Gritting his teeth a bit, the Renne crawls carefully up and...well, apparently he's gingerly sniffing to find a corner to curl up on without forcing the Human to go anywhere.
"Rrrr-enne noh be bad."

He waits for Renne to settle in and curls a gentle arm around him, for his own comfort as much as his brother's.

He curls, not caring that as his armour slowly dissolves, shrinking back into himself, the flashes of utter relief come across his skin.
He's got some shallow scrapes, a cracked ribcage and a shoulder that barely works but already he can feel his biology working as if in time-lapse reverse. It might however, cause a few odd thoughts to come voiced.
"Rrr-enne do ge-t 'no-therr Tah-too-too."

That last bit is a curiosity, though. "Another tattoo? Of what?"

"Rrrr-enne noh kno-w yet. It be fohrrr Bee." That much, he does know. The anchor (http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l197/BlindIntellect/Character%20Possessions%20Miti/RennesTattoo.gif) on his left forearm had been for someone long gone. His right arm? For someone alive and here.

It had hurt like hell last time he'd done it but the hours had been, in the end, worth it. Not even minding the permanent skin alterations it had induced, Renne smiles a little -- determined to think of something.

Purring at the skritch, the Renne twists a bit so his better arm can come 'round to embrace the Human.
"Bee, noh hurrr-ted bad?" He wishes it was "not hurt at all" but battlefield logic prohibits that.

The hug is returned with a careful arm, trying very hard not to jar any injuries. "I hope you will be as well."
