"OW! That so totally hurts!" -- Charles Xavier
The battle against the Ohm raged on, and the casualties on the ground were mounting. Injured crew members got emergency treatment in the field, which largely amounted to patching them up so they wouldn't die sometime within the next fifteen minutes. After that, they were quickly picked up by shuttle and brought back to the ship, where they were sent to a medbay that was getting progressively more crowded.
The situation was growing increasingly dire, to the point that Stacy activated one of the AI's to help out.

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."

"You gave us quite the scare there for a while."

She was silent for a beat.
My pilots, my Jed-Eye? No one dead? The brush of her mind was almost gently probing, trying to figure out from where she was if he was damaged.

She wanted to get up, but she was stuck in this space until she healed properly.
Have you had these bumps looked at? Her words were sharp with concern. His bumps could be anything, after all. One's injuries could be made light and still be enough to have someone holler over. And I shall be at rest only so long as this infernal machine keeps me stuck in this place. I shall have to heal faster, so that I may do the things I wish to do.
She swallowed with some difficulty and let out a breath through gritted teeth as she gathered the necessary strength.
"I wish," she said, forcing the words out, each of them bitten off, sliced through the throbbing of her injuries, "to be home. With you. Not. Here."
Not here. Get me out. It is loud.

Arha realized, then, that she had been fighting the urge to heal the entire time she had been awake. Her jaw tightened and she pressed her lips together. She fought to keep them from trembling, turning her entire life's lessons to keep herself still. The flash of horror was there, though, and she half choked on a reply.
Give me your hand, my Jed-Eye, she hissed. You will understand what I mean when I say that you must get me out of this place. Her hands were blazing with desert heat shot through the the Force and the more she tried to suck it in, to clamp down on it, the worse it made her feel. I cannot be here.

Her hands flared again in a spasm and she clamped down on it.
She had not lost control. Even in battle when the wounded were brought to her again and again. But she had never tried to throw space-ships around and then shoot. The strain had been too much, especially for her nascent abilities--yes, she was nearly a Knight, but her first battle was just that. And she had nearly broken herself to protect Asuka.
This was, apparently, her price.

Hang in there we're leaving. Just hang in there.

"I am afraid you're taking my patient from my care without proper authorization," he said, keeping his tone as civil as possible. "She should remain in my custody until further notice. If you must know, there was some internal bleeding that I, fortunately, was able to stop. Her condition is--"
Arha let out a cry of protest.
"Oh." He took out his tricorder and frowned. "You are emitting strange energy readings. Are you sure this action is necessary? I am the Emergency Medical Hologram and I am full equipped to deal with a broad range of emergencies. I am cert--"
"Please move," Arha whispered, burying her face against Kyle's neck. Her cheek was very nearly scalding. "Quickly." I will be fine. Once we are in the City. Away. I know it.
The EMH blinked in confusion.

"Are you alright? Sorry about the rough ride."

Much better. I do not feel as if the entire medical bay is sucking my energy from me. It was fascinating, though, that the compulsion and the bleed only happened while she was conscious. It is okay, now. I am...sorry for the panic. The only other time this happened was in a battle a good six years behind me. I had to be dragged away. They left me in the open desert. I called Shai-Hulud. He brought me to my home. If it were not for my affinity, I would have died that day. I do not know why this thing happens, perhaps because my guard is completely down.

Losing her in the medbay because she healed everyone was not acceptable. Well losing her at all wasn't acceptable, but that way especially.

She leaned her head against his shoulder.
I am safe. With you. I suppose it isafe to say that if I am conscious and in such a condition, it could recur. I that case, I should be moved.

He wasn't a medic, but he could keep a close eye on her until she was better.

It matters not what I lay on. I am comfortable so long as nothing provokes sharp movement or healing. It was easier to speak using this Force, thusly. Her jaw hurt from being rattled around and her throat was sore.

"Just try to rest, and I'll get us there alright?"

Her sleepy response was sluggish at best, colored with a mental display if half-dreams. X-Wings, Jed-Eye, Vader, Kyle, Wedge. The squadron. Fixing her X-Wing.
All of the images flashed about, vivid and bright. And, too, there was a mental image of being curled up in blankets. Soft, nice blankets.
