You're on a vacation planet, taking a well-deserved vacation. But do you know where your mismatched set of El Paso's Best Sidekicks are?

They're not sunbathing.

They're not shopping.

They're not swimming or dancing or sleeping.

No, Paco and Brenda are on a mission. A mission to locate a certain other ginger-and-black-haired twosome and take advantage of the entertainment the vacation planet had to offer.

Steve and Miku, you're about to get double-dated!

Brenda leans close to Paco's shoulder, pointing through the bush they are lurking behind to the path on the other side of it.

She murmurs in his ear, "Target accquired" and follows it up with a classic Brenda smirk. "Shall we?"

Fortunately for Steve and Miku, they managed to catch them at a moment when they weren't saying anything mushy or stupid. He was holding her hand though. He looked backwards towards the bush but didn't notice anything, turning back around.

"Well... now what?"

Miku shrugged and adjusted her sunglasses, "I don't know... did you want to go back that way?" Of course, they'd been walking around for an hour now, and probably needed to find something to do that didn't include dragging poor Steve into a store.

Which she'd done... five times now.

"Yes we shall!" Paco whispered back, before vaulting out of the bushes and approaching their 'target'.

"Steve! Miku! Heeeeeey!"

Oh god.

Steve turned around and froze up like a deer in headlights as Paco and Brenda approached. You might have seen him step forward as though to protect his ladyfriend from their boisterous approach but... could have also just been a trick of the light.

"Uh... hi, Paco," he said, sounding suspicious.

"Hey guys." Brenda shot them both a grin, her arm firmly hooked around Paco's. "Got any plans for the shore break?"

Miku peeked around Steve's arm and smiled at Brenda and Paco. "We were just trying to figure that out, actually." She glanced up at Steve's face for just a moment, to make sure he hadn't frozen stiff.

"Awesome," Paco said. "Have you guys eaten yet? There's a bunch of really awesome restaurants we could hit and discuss ideas." He waggled his omnicom at them. "I got a list of places that are good for dates."

Steve eyed Paco with very brief horror.

"Uh, we ate lunch, but nothing after that," Steve said, still looking like he could flee at any time now. "Are you guys gonna go check them out, or something?"

"Well, we were thinking we might find something fun to do with you guys," Paco said, catching Steve's look of horror and choosing to ignore it. Hey, if he was nervous about this girl, it was Paco's job to step in and help wingman for him. Okay, Steve hadn't actually asked for his help, but Paco could be generous that way. "What do you say, Miku? Worse comes to worse, there's always movies."

Miku squeezed Steve's hand briefly, as if trying to bolster his courage. She brushed her hair out of her face and smiled, "Ah... That sounds just fine." Miku looked up at Steve again, "Right?"

"Right," Steve said instantly.

Damn that hand-squeezing and that cute little smile. He was quickly finding out just what she could make him agree to with it. Like spending a long time with Paco, who was almost guaranteed to try to do something "helpful" for him with regards to Miku.
