Re: Clothes Shopping

Nura carefully removes the plantsuit and drops it in the corner of the stall on the bench with a minor wrinkle of her nose. She tries on the bra first, and checks herself in the mirror. It was the only bra on the rack that had reminded her of the clothing she'd worn back home in the 31st century. It wasn't as soft as fabric she remembers, but it will have to do.

Then she holds up a pair of underwear to her to see if it would fit (another 21st century taboo is trying on underwear and than returning it or not buying it. Health being an issue) and then she shimmies into the skirt and checks herself in the mirror.

It needs something...

She opens the curtain a bit to look out in the hall of the dressing room, and finds herself staring at the rack of clothes that people had tried on and yet had not returned to their rightful racks in the store. Eyes quick, she scouts out a perfect white top and removes it from the rack...and then gets back into the dressing room and pulls it on over her head.

It is swoop-neck top with sleeves that go three inches from her elbows. A little cleavage is revealed, but not so much that it is appropriate.

"Alright, one minute, Katara," she says, deciding to just wear the underwear for the sake of modesty (she's going to buy it anyways). She knocks on the wall that separates her stall from Katara's, and then pushes back the curtain of her stall and steps out with a flourish of a twirl.

"Ready!"
