There's only so much Goliath can learn about this new era and the future he missed from the castle's library, and so he is visiting the ship's library again, looking for histories.
Besides - the datapad he was using until now is broken (again), so he's there to replace that, too.

He saluted, a habit more than likely not to fade as time went on. "Yzak Jule."

"Goliath."
The gargoyle nods once in greeting.
"It is in my interest to learn about the futures of Earth that I have missed. I would be glad to speak to you about the times from which you have come, if you would care to speak of them."

Goliath, huh. That somehow seemed like a fitting name for such a being. Although there was still one more question Yzak had.
"What are you, exactly?"

It might not explain much, but there you are.
"To my knowledge, humans had not started living in significant numbers off the planet Earth by the time my world was destroyed."

Yzak didn't mention or ask anything else on the gargoyle front. He knew what a gargoyle was, but that didn't include one being anything more than a stone sculpture.
"I'm not very sure how alike the places we come from are, but at that point in time to me, no, nobody had the technology to set up settlements outside of Earth like the ones we have."

A slip of the tongue. Too easy to make, these many days of being the only one awake.

"My people are called Coordinators. We've been genetically enhanced to be more mentally and physically capable than a Natural - a normal human. Due to our abilities, we were able to speed up travel into space, and created colonies that were originally intended for research and manufacturing. Coordinators eventually moved primarily to these colonies when they were oppressed by the Naturals and overall unwelcome on Earth."
