Med Bay [closed...for now]
Mara was a woman of action, one who liked to get things done sooner rather than later, instead of waiting around.
So when Luke told her she'd need to get a contraception shot for things, she decided to go ahead and get it done. She'd apparently been given a second chance with her husband and she wasn't going to waste any second with him, in any way.
Plus, check ups were always good, right?
She sighed as she sat on the chair. Eugh, doctors.

"Hello!" she smirked, immediately jumping up and taking the seat next to her. "How are you today, Master Skywalker?"
no subject
"Ms. Khai. I'm doing fine. Yourself?"

On Kesh, discussing anything remotely related to one's own medical history was completely shameful. Seeing chairs all in rows -- different from the darkened healer chambers of her home which only admitted one person at a time -- made her think that most of the people on this ship didn't think the same way.
"I am here for vac - ci - na - tions."

"I was in a fight a few weeks before I was brought here." That much was true. Sometimes her jaw still clicked weird thanks to Lumiya's skull. "I just wanted to make sure everything is still fine."

People on Stacy talked. While there was no secret information about Mara's death, the whispers had informed Vestara enough. Ben hadn't brought it up yet -- the less he knew that Vestara knew nearly every painful detail, the better.
"I have been informed that I need a contraception shot."

That information wasn't hard to give. Everyone knew Mara and Lumiya absolutely hated each other, after all.
"Oh?" Mara narrowed her eyes at the girl. "Oh, really? Aren't you a bit...young?"
no subject
Sixteen is young for human copulation on Coruscant? Hilarious.
"We believe that a good apprentice is always prepared."

Mara looked away, at the charts on the wall, her face expressionless. "I suggest you be very smart about who you choose to have sex with, Ms. Khai."
AKA: get the kriff away from her son.

The fury she felt rolling off Jade-Skywalker was more than satisfying.

She rolls her neck, ligaments popping. "But if they're annoyed with you, I doubt you want to see me annoyed."

Vestara leaned back in her seat and crossed her legs. "What I did or didn't do is ancient galactic history. If I want to fairly work alongside the two beings who kidnapped me... I don't understand why my forgiveness is frowned upon."
She sadly shook her head. "I suppose their own guilt is manifested by trying to avoid me. There's so much your son and I could learn from each other," she gestured at the room, "But this is neither the time nor the place to discuss that."

She stopped before walking into the office with the nurse. "And it's Master Skywalker. You and I are not on first name terms."
