"Well," she said, and she tapped a finger on her chin as she thought. "He has blue eyes, and light brown hair that comes down in bangs kind of like this," she used her hands to indicate the hairstyle she meant. "He's kind of average height and build, too. But you'll probably know him from his expression - he always looks serious, or grumpy. I don't think I've ever seen him smile once!"

Okay, so the tone of her voice was slightly playful, but that didn't mean she wasn't being serious.
